August 28, 20224 yr Active Members Popular Post I would like to share with you an event which happened to one of my friend in Rio last week. He was in an hotel in Copacabana and went for breakfast. Since breakfast room was full, a guy asked him to sit down at his table. He agreed. He was surprised to see how much food the guy was eating. When breakfast was over, my friend went to the elevator. The guy had also finished his breakfast and went also to the same elevator. The left at same floor. My friend entered his room and the guy followed the corridor to go to what seemed to be another room. After a few minutes, someone knocked at my friend's door. He opened but kept his foot to block the door. The guy tried to push the door and enter by force. After some time, my friend managed to push the guy sufficiently hard so that the guy fell down on the floor. My friend then locked the door and called reception and police. But the guy of course had disappeared ... we need to be super cautious in Rio in particular, even in the apparently safe surrounding of an hotel ! Another story I heard from a Brasilian friend this week : some Brazilian have a second telephone they use when going out at night or in not so safe surroundings. This phone is very cheap and does not have much personnal data (payment, bank data, ...). What is funny is the name Brazilians give to this telephone : celular do ladrão (telephone for thief). Personnally, I am using this method since many years. In addition, I never take my phone out in the street (I go inside a shop instead). Problem used to be with whattsapp which could not be on 2 equipment, but now it is possible to have whattsapp on more than 1 equipment, even though it is not totally functional IMHO). Be safe !

September 18, 20223 yr Active Members I was mugged almost in front of the Copacabana Palace on my first visit to Rio in 2005. I have returned to Brazil 8 times older and wiser. As I result of that experience I have carefully followed the countless stories of muggings and robberies and others like the one the subject of this thread. Brazil is wonderful but let there be no doubt it has a crime problem.

January 4, 20242 yr Active Members Do you think it's worth the risk and the worry about crime(theft, rubbery, kidnapping, drugged, scams...etc, to go the Brazil just for the GP sex? I guess the answer is yes for the super horny guys. But for me, I am getting tired of Brazil because of the crime.

Did you fell a victim to a crime or you just don't want to take the risk anymore by going there?
