Nothing about Mexico ?

What noone has put in cannot come out.

Most likely there are too few guys going there who also know this board and are willing to report.

BUT there is a fairly recent report about Puerto Vallarta/MX by multi-poster and also multi-liked (yes, for a good reason) vinapu and this also led to many more reactions with some more info.

As I restrict myself mostly to only ASEAN: f.e. about Vietnam is much more in the other forum (sawatdeenetwork) and not here so much, probably also just by chance-one leads to other. But that forum only covers ASEAN. I am pretty sure there will be other forums based in USA with more details-google is your friend for those things.

Why no more report about Mexico ?

Mexico is a great country, is why I moved here. Very diverse and so many places different that the others....but one thing in common, so many horny guys.

I guess people that come here, don't write travel reports....yet many have been here. There is a site with forums in Spanish for almost every city talking about where to go what to do, hookups and more:

My first visit into Mexico was 50 years ago and I've cris-crossed the country more actively for the past 29 years, 6 of which when I lived / worked in Mexico City.

What had been my active sex life changed markedly after prostate cancer surgery in 2008.  During those years Cruising for Sex.com forums were popular places to post and look for information and I regularly contributed reports about Mexico.

I usually visit Mexico at least once yearly.

I've never hired an escort in Mexico via a website.  That's not to say I baven't paid for sex. My experience has been that the best sex is found by cruising in public - free sex or play for pay.   But as is true for any destination, a lack of the ability to speak the national language and / or lack of knowledge of "who, what, when, where and how" presents challenges to many foreign visitors.

Visitors to Mexico are drawn, primarily, from the USA.  And Americans overall visit Cancun, Costa Maya and Cabo San Lucas.  I believe those choices are driven by the fact that they don't have to speak Spanish to fully enjoy themselves. ... and it doesn't take 8, 12 or 24 hours to fly / drive there.

While Acapulco was, for decades, the destination most preferred by foreign gays, concerted local governnent efforts made it uncomfortable for most and the gay scene moved to Vallarta, for the most part.

It's true that there are many interesting destinations in Mexico and bountiful potential opportunities for sex.  It's also true that the drug war has made it, in some instances, potentially dangerous to independently travel when you don't know what you don't know.

Travel opportunities for gay men are more plentiful today than ever before and, for whatever reason, Mexico is not as popular a destination.

The Bf and I are heading to Cancun for Christmas and New Years and staying in the City rather than the hotel zone and he tells me we're fairly close to several gay bars etc, just wondering anyone an experience / tips there for where is a good fun night out or where or what to avoid etc ?
