It all depends on what your citizenship. some European citizens can enter Vietnam without the need of a visa. if you're Australian as your location indicate, then yes you need to apply for an eVisa.  This is the official portal to apply from: https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/khai-thi-thuc-dien-tu/cap-thi-thuc-dien-tu

Keep in mind that once you apply and get approved, you have a printed copy of the visa when you travel as they will ask for it at the airport.

Yes.  You must show the printed copy to VN Immigration when you arrive & again when you leave the country.
