January 2, 201115 yr Popped in sansuk last night, it seem pretty busy but the ratio of Thai & farang was about 1 to 10. Most farangs were typically what you get in Pattaya - old & fat! There were quite a few Russians as well but nothing to write home about. Good luck to them if they are making money.
January 2, 201115 yr I haven't been in awhile, but from what I recall, there was a hour or two "window" which was pretty hoppin with good Thai guys....started at 5 or 6 PM or so??? Outside of that magic time, seemed pretty slow. What time did you visit?

There were quite a few Russians as well but nothing to write home about. Good luck to them if they are making money. Oh, what did you expect? It is peak time now (Christmas + New year), so boys mainly are busy at work and opposite: a lot of tourists are in Pattaya... as well - as it is mentioned above - not like in western saunas best time in Thailand is about 5-6 PM.
January 3, 201115 yr The thing to remember is this: Even if a sauna has far greater number of Thais to farangs (say, 10 Thais to 1 farang), very likely the Thais are not interested in hooking up with farang. Most Thais are only interested in other Thais. If Sansuk manages to attract lots of Thais at all times it can only mean that Thais know it as a place where they hook up with other Thais. The ratio of Thais interested in farangs remains 1:10.

So every Thai understands what he can expect in that place (like in Babylon in BKK). So Sansuk attracts mostly thai boys who is interested in contacts with westerners. From my experiences - I had times when ratio was even 2:5 (W:T) and in dry sauna I'v been "attacked" by 4 boys at the same time. But (every time has "but") not in peak season. By the way: in Sansuk owner does good job and it almost clear space from moneyboys - I never been asked about money or other kind of "help" there or late by the way from Sauna with new "friend".

This matches my experience as well...and it was not high season. I was rather surprised at how "popular" I seemed. Definately good for the ego. Ratio might have been more 1:1, but it is tough to judge accurately. Had a great time, no money boy implications, etc.
