Chasing someone is a thrill… one that you probably don't get to revel in when you're in a secure relationship. Scientifically, having a crush and falling for someone releases feel-good hormones like dopamine and adrenaline. Part of the chase is a chase for those brain chemicals, to feel those euphoric feelings again.

for me is getting there as opposite of being there already. Or running after that 20 $ bill sudden wind blew away from my hands

Ahhh ....but is it always  the end  "goal" of the person initiating the "thrill of the chase"

I've always been too shy to chase. On my first visit nearly thirty years ago, I required my object of desire to make the first, second and third move.  And to be blunt, I don't think I've changed. I envy  those who are braver than me and more resilient when it comes to set-backs.

Too bad you didn't know @vinapu back then, you could've done one of his boot camps and he would've marched that shyness right out of you 😉

In fact, I was best pals with my American buddy, who was utterly fearless and incredibly successful. Seeing him operate only increased my sense of inadequacy. But I look on the bright side; P's reserved quietness  was a good match for my shyness. And twenty years don't lie! The Pattaya scene of that period had someone for everyone.

The Pattaya scene right now is the best in my opinion 

I prefer the "business like "👨‍💼👨‍💼 transaction it's turned into rather than that boyfriend type experience it used to be 20 years and more ago 

This generation of boys are far different and I love it 😻haggling , negotiation, 

I bet to some of the "old" time farangs it must be a turn off though , but not to me

I'm more worried about what will happen in 2.5 years  as in 25 years I plan to renovate kitchen so don't expect to have funds for travel
