My experience from Batumi 2.5 years ago: There will be several guys contacting you in grindr with offers for paid sex. Rate should be around 50 USD for young next-door type guys; maybe slightly more because Tbilisi. Expect to negotiate. If you are looking for gym fit, muscle, models it will be more obviously (if available at all). You can try Hunqz also; expect to pay more than Grindr guys.

When I was there a year ago, Grindr offers were not abundant. I did hook up for smth like 50e, but some offers were in the 100-200 territory that I didn't take. Be mindful it's a conservative country with a full history of recent anti-LGBT protests or outright violence (and at the same time with a fascinating underground alternative culture that skews towards decidedly queer)

$200 is a monthly salary there. $50 is a max, and starts at $30. Not an easy to find bottom. Those people look very much like European but their head is 100% Turkish. Having said that, they are easy going, enjoy music and friendly toward foreigners.

During my first (and only) trip to Tbilisi in 2024 I had a great time.  I used Grindr and met a few hot guys (all non-paying hookups; all bottom) during my 4-day stay.  AirBnB, so no logistical issues.  Two of the guys that I met were Russian; two were Georgian.  My only advice is that you shouldn’t expect a huge supply.  (If you have a very narrow filter you’ll end up seeing profiles from neighboring countries.)  I don’t recall seeing profiles that were obviously for escorts, but I might simply have forgotten them since that wasn’t my focus during that trip.

Somebody mentioned power outages in another thread on here (regarding Moldova). Note that while I was in Tbilisi there was one blackout that affected the entire city center for a few hours. No big deal. It wasn’t the first blackout that I experienced while traveling in Eastern Europe.  Just be sure you have a local SIM card (so you’re not dependent on WiFi while on Grindr) and keep devices fully charged while at home. And if in an AirBnB, know where the candles are, so you can enjoy a date over candlelight.

Very good news, and glad you had a good time. Was there just before the conflict and was very limited choices for bottom. A good reason to return I guess. Especially,  Russian baby’s face with smooth body, I enjoy them.

My profile is never blank.  When visiting new countries, I adjust my profile to align with local norms. When I arrive I turn on Grindr and see if a lot of the profiles have face pics. If they do, I use my face pics.  If they don’t, I use torso pics.  But even my torso pics show half of my face.

If I recall correctly (and I’m not certain that I do), in Tbilisi I used torso pics on Day 1, then switched to face pics for the rest of the trip.

I was there just before the Russian/Ukrain's war broke, everything was as expected and cheap. Most tourists were Iranians and Russians. The city itself is small and divided into two parts by the river. I stayed in an old area, near the Turkish Bathhouse, there are many beautiful old houses "Turkish style", full with restaurants and bars, old fort along the river bank, you can easily spend 4-5 days there. I did a boat tour along the river, the view and the way of life along the bank were fantastic. People were pleasant very much like Turkish and they do drink.

For a scenic sights or those who loves nature, visit Ushguli along the Russian border, spectacular place, ancient towns, the mountains, less than an hour plane ride. Do not drive there, it takes 10 plus hours and the roads aren't good with sharp curves and high mountains. Summer is cool and cold during night. 

Good food and good choices of wine. For the meat market, Plenty choices of body type, and mostly top "local guys" on an applications and there is no need to book in advance. Good News, With current situation, the place probably very much like Pattaya, Thailand, it offers young&beautiful twink from Russia/Ukraine and most likely to be versatile. They are very discrete or conservative so an online meeting is best option. For the profile, indicate exactly services you want in exchange for gift. When in Thailand, I have my profile written in both English and Russian.  You have fun and be sure to bring extra cash....

Bear in mind that Georgia has very strong anti-drug laws that are strictly enforced. Even if you have only prescribed items with you, check online beforehand that they are permitted.

I just came back from (beautiful) Georgia, I'm willing to post a trip report and answer questions if anyone's still interested. 

Let's get right to the beef: Georgian men from my moderately sized sample are masculine, hung and very good in bed. Prices are very affordable (including the local guys, who are way more bicurious than I'd have thought). Highly recommended destination overall.

Georgia is a very beautiful and affordable country. The people are welcoming and the English proficiency is somehow surprisingly good, of course the elderly and the ones living in rural areas away from the tourist networks will struggle a bit, but they'll do their best. 

The country can be visited using its three main cities as hubs: Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi. The first is obviously the easiest one, as it's a vibrant and lively city comparable to any middle-sized European capital city. All these areas are worth a visit and you'll find frequent tours available by bus, in case you don't want to rent a car. 

And now about the men: Georgia is still a conservative, traditional and mostly rural society, so forget public displays of affection. Opening any app, you'll see most guys are showing either empty profiles or body parts. Almost everyone will send you expiring pics, to take notice of the interesting ones. Displaying your country flag in the main headline of grindr is enough to attract the interest of escorts and (most interesting) bi-curious guys or just locals looking for an extra to pay their bills. Be smart and use your brain as you would do at home.

I'm versatile but just had to try the local experience as a bottom, so I hired a few providers; every single experience was just excellent. Hung, thick, romantic and dominant at the same time. I never had the feeling I bought a blow-up doll or a mechanical pump as it happened so many times back home, all the guys put a lot of effort in what they were doing and were genuinely enjoying themselves. I stayed in hotels as it was peak holiday season and even booking early there weren't many available options left. Next time hopefully I'll be luckier and get a small apartment. We were able to hookup renting hour hotels.

Guys sending you pics that look "off" (professional photography, AI generated, no clear face visible) or simply refusing to agree on basic rule of common sense like sharing phone number or getting paid after the meeting was over. There was a guy that insisted in getting paid as soon as we met, that's a red flag anywhere in the world, so I ended up not meeting him at all.
