I'm a late sleeper generally, but on my last stay Boystown was pretty slow overall and didn't hear any music when I was in the hotel at any hour. I don't think Ambiance can be categorized as a gay hotel any longer...many straight people staying, probably because of the good rates and location? I still like it there..... but my next visit, I'll probably just stay in the Venue, like I said, Boystown area seems pretty slow .
July 4, 20251 yr Thanks for that. I had noticed that many of the Ambiance reviews warned that it was in the heart of the gay area, but nobody seemed unduly alarmed. I have just looked at the reviews for Venue and they seem to be very positive on the whole Maybe I will try that instead of Zing Resort and Spa next time. I had assumed that Boyztown had more to offer than Jomtien as far as gogo bars were concerned

I Jan I discovered joys of living in between two areas and opted for Zing hotel ( not Zing Resort ), mid way between both. Repeated in Jun.

Agree, if you get a front room looking out on the Complex, then can be a bit noisy. When booking, ask Chris (Manager) for a back room, you'll not hear a thing. Also booking direct, you get a discount off food or drink.
