Well, I assume you are talking about a date you made via the apps. I mean, being lazy and having room service might sounds nice, but there is a list of things that can go wrong. Even none pay dates via Grindr etc. should not be able to find you. For me, the best place to meet is in a mall or any public place where you can sit and have a drink. Photoshop is real, but I had boys using pictures of other people/friends.

In Vietnam, one came to my house and when I confronted him with it, he said "because my friend is cute and I am not." That was the last time I met anyone where I stay.

One of my friends usually meets guys in a park during the day time. When they are not his type (read ugly to him) he tells them that they are to young 😂

If you don't like them and it is a pay date, you can give them some taxi money. But don't Wimp out if they lie to you. Don't reward that behaviour by giving them money.
