My experiences are the opposite of your friend looking for folks 20 yrs older. He should try La Cueva near M Cantagalo on a club night, after 0100 hours. I would expect that if he is in shape they might offer to pay him. Lol. Strange as it has always seemed to me, I have experienced multiple dates with much younger guys who were not asking for pay up front in Brazil. Not true elsewhere. That stated they almost always asked for some help from their older mentor at some point and I never objected as I think maybe I understand the dynamics here where poverty is crushing.
