whitemouse Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Hey, after leaving Marrakesh, arrived in Hurghada on March 28, used a ride share app inDrive to get to Sheraton Rd. About 5 minute ride, cost 100 EGP, about $2 USD, from now on all prices in $, easier for everyone. Driver about 25, handsome, I told him I'm renting a private apartment at Sheraton Rd, that's the main road at new Hurghada, it is not at the beach but this is where locals live and streets are lively. Anyway, I smiled at him few times, he got the hint, I bluntly offered to blow him. We did in his car, he drive off the main highway to town. Cost 400 EGP, $7. I had booked a private apartment at Booking com, about 5 minute walk from Sheraton Rd McDonald's, smaller side street. Key in a locker box, no security, not even a front door to enter the stairway, nice and private, it seemed. Apartment was nice enough, $20 per night, I only booked for 1 night, although I'm planning to stay in Hurghada 2 weeks. I ran in and out of the apartment several times, bought bottle of gin, then some other stuff, maybe in and out 3 times since arrived. Never saw anyone in the building, my apartment on 4th floor. Now things get interesting. Sat next to a local guy at Sheraton Rd bench, there are several benches, from McDonald's down the street, many local guys are sitting around, sitting is free and they always ask for a cigarette. I bought a pack just to share, it's a good way to start conversation. So in about 15 minutes I spoke to a guy, handsome enough, maybe 25, I said I have a private place, we walked to my building. And then suddenly there is a stranger, just a guy, a local, asking my guest something in Arabic, loud tone, shouting almost, looking almost angry. I had no clue who this guy is, but my guest spoke to him in Arabic, and told me in English that guest is not allowed in a building. I called my host, apartment owner in WhatsApp, we had spoken earlier about building location. He told me no guest is allowed. I replied, this is my home, I rented a full apartment from him, and my guest is my friend. NO! No guest allowed. So he suggested he knows a quiet place, few minutes taxi ride, we took a taxi, not far, a construction site with no fence, no staff, it was dark by then. I blew him, guy was super hot, wanted to fuck me, I declined, but he really enjoyed to bj, so did I, 600 EGP, $11. When I gave him the money, he was protesting, saying this is not enough even though we had agreed on this before. This is the usual song and dance in Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt. So I just ignored it and he gave up. We took a taxi back, to the center, I walked around a bit, everywhere in the center local guys make eye contact, usually offering all kinds of substances. Later on I spoke to another guy, agreed on the money and we walked to a closed shop front, he had a key, a b,j again. Very handsome guy, maybe 25. I liked it very much. Arab straight guys are fairly aggressive during bj , not shy at all and I like it, it's almost never disappointing. But what is a big disappointment is the situation with my so called private apartment. No guests. Just like ever hotel, except nowhere does it state this while you are booking the place. Contrary, booking site says 'private apartment with a private entrance'. So I'm writing this next morning, I'm checking out, looking at other places in the neighborhood. The whole point of not staying in a hotel is privacy of apartment, without it there are downsides, no security, noise from the street all night. Thinking if I should fuck this host a claim a refund, not sure but seems unfair to misrepresent the booking conditions. I'll stay in Hurghada, kõik for another place, see how it goes, will update, hopefully later tonight. Btw, I am new here, but long time poster at Sawadteenetwork, nicks Whitemouse and Doubledutch, met several members from there after spending last 10 years in Pattaya, staying 6 months every winter. Tried to register at gay-thailand here, ages ago, never heard from Admin and could not post. bkkmfj2648, khaolakguy, joizy and 1 other 4 Quote
whitemouse Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago This is the McDonald's, streets are quiet in the morning. The benches are running along this side of Sheraton Rd for few hundred meters, in the evening and at night very busy, a guys, all about 25 - 30 age. You can simply sit down, some of them say hello, most will ask for a cigarette. These guys seem to be hustlers, they are smooth talkers, they certainly know I want. There are not many white guys wondering around alone. Last night one guy I spoke to asked 3000 EGP lol, that's around $60. So you politely end the conversation, no point negotiating when this guy's negotiation start in Stratosphere. The going rate seems to be 600 EGP, one guy asked 400 last night, $7. He was slightly chubby but I like skinny. These benches are good place to hang out at night, this whole area is busy. Thank you, Connor2025 for your Hurghada post from last year, very helpful. bkkmfj2648 and traveltom 2 Quote
whitemouse Posted 59 minutes ago Author Posted 59 minutes ago It's middle of afternoon now, boring part of a day, sitting in coffee shop, reading news. So, I checked out of my very private, very private entry apartment, except guests not allowed. Looked around at Booking for full apartments, not all that many around Sheraton Rd, and the ones that are listed have insanely low recommendation numbers, like 3 out of 10, few are 1 out of 10, that's quite a feat in itself, you got to really make an effort to get scores this low. Guest descriptions often say that apartment is nowhere near where its listed location, some have no windows. Booked a hotel just off main road, less than a km. Cheap, and seem dead empty, but it was around 11am, so who knows. Now a good thing, reception only 1 guy, no English, took him about 5 minutes to make copy of a passport. That's good signs, it doesn't look like major tourist hotel. There was one other guy, he stepped out of corridor and receptionist tells him something in Arabic, but receptionist gave the room key to me, so what's the need for a bell boy? Turned out, he was needed to grab a towel and walk up with me to the third floor. This bellboy, towel boy, around 30 maybe, super handsome and he kept smiling. In the room he took his time to demonstrate how the lights switches work, all with a great smile. I tipped him 40 local money, 70 cents US, he seemed happy. He started to walk out, I said something to get his attention and slapped my hand on the bed, I was sitting in the bed. His smile got even wider. And he sort of stopped, but did not sit next to me. So I slapped the bed again, and made a hand gesture, come sit. Before all this he hardly spoke, I don't think he speaks much English. But to my slapping the bed 'mating call' he said one word - later. So I'm hopeful. Walked out, weather is on a hot side, took a inDrive motorbike to Cornish, the public beach area, about 4 km, price 57 cents US, 30 EGP. It's insane how cheap it can be here. Walked next to the beach, sat outside in the shade, opened Grind. About 30 messages, mostly no user pic whatsoever, replied a few, out of boredom. This one guy replies back, sends expiring photos, super handsome, swimmer built, says age is 20. He wants $30. I said can do $20, he agrees immediately. But the strangest part, he says he can host. They can almost never host here, same in Morocco, nobody lives alone. He sends coordinates, I click inDrive, I'm there in 6 minutes. I text him that I'm outside, he says he will be right there. And he did, pics are his, the only thing that struck immediately, he looks younger than on the pics. Another thing, his English was very good, all replies at Grind within half a minutes, certainly no Google translate, many use ggl translate. His English in person very good, too good. He needs cigarettes. Normal enough, they never have cigarettes. We walk to corner shop, LM are 100 EGP, $2 for pack of 20. All is good, and then he starts chatting with shop keeper, guy maybe 35-40. I pay with 200 local bill, he needs to give me chance, 100, but he hesitates. I put my hand forward, and he gives me 100. Then my young Grind friend tells me, give him tip, give him 100. Now, this is not normal. I put my 100 in the pocket and slowly walk away, back towards the street corner where we had just met. The guy is not following me, I look back, don't see him, first thought was, he just needed cigarettes and never intended to do anything else. But no, minute later he was running to catch up with me. We stopped at the corner and I asked, how old are you. 20, he says. Thing is, he looked younger. Arab guys age quickly, 20 yr old can easily look 30. But this guy looked way too young. I ask ID, just plainly like that, be it rude or not. He doesn't have it, but he has it in his home, lets go in and he will show me. I said no, bring it, because I'm not going to enter a residence with someone who can easily be under 18. Trick is, they lock the door, try to extort money, they declare that they are not of age. Certainly not a pleasant situation, I imagine, it has never happened to me, but there are reports online about this sort of scam. The way out is to sit down and say, ok, call the police. They won't. But there is some chance that they work with police, and if that's the case you are fucked. Paying your way out can be expensive, I believe. So I walked away. He started texting furiously, but he never called out in the street, although this street was very quiet. I blocked him. Now, how does someone like he have a place of his own? At 20. It is highly unusual. Why is his English so good, nearly fluent? Everything about him seemed off. It 2pm now and the day has barely started. Not sure how to find a private apartment here, will start looking now. Quote
