Funny part is   , I never bothered with senior discount on MRT so for me sense of mourning it's passing is lost

I believe it was only available  to residents, or so I was told?

Part 5 of 5 (I promise no more from this trip after this one)

I am a bit behind on catching up with this forum, and am only just reading your reports now. I would read a few more of your reports right away, though. Thanks for writing the massage reports described in such detail. I really appreciate that!

Hope to run into you.  I'm about to make my first trip over and although we have different types... I'm not so much into muscle... your detailed accounts of the trip were incredible!  I hadn't given much thought to massages as I have the bars... now I think I'm more excited to try them out than I am the bars.  I'll be in Bangkok from late August through 9/9.  I'll message you before I leave.

No. The BTS Senior Rabbit Card is only for Thai citizens (https://btsbangkok.com/rabbit-card) but the MRT senior card was available to anyone over 60 regardless of nationality or residence (it must have been, as I had one!) As a lawyer you may be amused by the minutiae: those over 65 were entitled to the discount, while those 60-65 were merely privileged to receive it.

Thanks, on reflection, I think i was told it was the BTS card that was restricted.  I didntvthink about the Metro. Yes, I am amused!
