TrentLA Posted April 7 Posted April 7 I was wondering which place is better base for a one-month stay in Egypt, Luxor or Aswan? Day trips can be done if necessary, but where are guys friendlier and where is easiest to hang? Thanks for the help Quote
Bruno Posted April 8 Posted April 8 I have been to both places: Aswan is beyond beauty. In a month, you potentially will become part of a community. It has many sights, yet - like Luxor - it is (too) hot in summer. Luxor might be more exciting though in terms of night life, however nothing compared to Cairo, Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh (also fantastic base for almost everything). Have you considered Alexandria? Enjoy! TrentLA and floridarob 1 1 Quote
TrentLA Posted yesterday at 04:23 AM Author Posted yesterday at 04:23 AM Thanks for the advice... What would you say is be the best base in Egypt for 1 month in terms of ease of meeting guys? Quote
Bruno Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I can imagine it is hard to believe butnin case you would like to meet Egyptians to hook up with, the whole country is a paradise. When living in Cairo, it happened on a daily base. In the coastal city of Alexandria, which I regulartly visited, it happened a lot. When travelling to Luxor, Aswan, Sharm El Sheikh or Hurghada (onoy recently), there always has been an abundant amount of men eager to meet and 'get to know you'. I would be considering culture (in case needed) and climate, guys will be there anyways. Quote

Bruno Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Difficult to answer your question. You could assume the majority to be top, yet that can easily change once you know them better. They are - of course - as diverse as Europeans. Quote
