Bruno Posted April 8 Posted April 8 I have been to both places: Aswan is beyond beauty. In a month, you potentially will become part of a community. It has many sights, yet - like Luxor - it is (too) hot in summer. Luxor might be more exciting though in terms of night life, however nothing compared to Cairo, Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh (also fantastic base for almost everything). Have you considered Alexandria? Bruno Posted April 14 Posted April 14 I can imagine it is hard to believe butnin case you would like to meet Egyptians to hook up with, the whole country is a paradise. When living in Cairo, it happened on a daily base. In the coastal city of Alexandria, which I regulartly visited, it happened a lot. When travelling to Luxor, Aswan, Sharm El Sheikh or Hurghada (onoy recently), there always has been an abundant amount of men eager to meet and 'get to know you'. If the purpose is to get guys easier then I think Luxor is the easiest then Hurghada, and then Aswan (but very limited as it is a small town) and Cairo. But if you pursue the quality I feel like Cairo offers the best range but it is so big and no obvious place to look so it requires a lot more effort. In general guys in Cairo are well built, look clean like a city person whereas many guys in Luxor and Hurghada look like fresh off the boat (or desert in this case). floridarob and FunFifties 2 Quote

Which areas in particular in Cairo would you recommend to stay to meet guys randomly on the streets? A working class area on the outskirts or something more central and touristy? Quote
