midwestdad Posted Tuesday at 06:52 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:52 PM The Migración Colombia Facebook page is full of foreigners, mostly US citizens, being denied entry due to sexual exploitation. Clearly, sexual exploitation is a bad thing. However, is having condoms and sex toys sufficient to deny entry? I’m planning a trip in June and am wondering if I need to be prepared for an interrogation. I realize I can easily buy condoms and lube upon arrival. Quote

This is very well covered in local Colombian media. The national police intelligence force are monitoring known sex tourists and pedophiles online in collaboration with the FBI and Interpol to prevent them from entering the country. If you are not involved in online groups where you are discussing and planning the sexual exploitation of Colombians, particularly children which is the focus of the investigation, you will be just fine.
