Mpox

I thought Mpox had disappeared.

But Western Australia (population 3 million) has recorded 22 cases so far this year, as opposed to 2 in Thailand (population 71.6 million)

I'm OK because I only have 2 regular sex partners and I never visit gay establishments here. But still, it's a real concern.

According to the Director-General of Thailand's Department of Disease Control,

“Mpox cases continue to be detected, particularly among groups with risk behaviours. The best prevention is to avoid close skin-to-skin contact with people who have symptoms, and to avoid sexual contact with strangers or anyone with a rash or skin lesions that may suggest infection."

Are visitors to Thailand still talking about it, or has everyone moved on?
