Does your definition of twink change as you get older?

My husband and I were watching Drag Race: Philippines with a friend (who's 35). They panned on one of the judges, BJ Pascual, and I exclaimed "Wow! He's so hot!". The friend said "Unicorn, he's a twink!". I replied "You're just saying that because you're in your mid 30s, and now think men in their 30s are twinks...". BJ Pascual is actually turning 39 this winter. I've always considered twinks to be lanky men in the 18-25 age range. But I've noticed that many of our friends in their 30s like to think of themselves as twinks (although the 35 year-old friend is too buffed to think of himself as a twink). About two years ago, one of a married couple turned 30, and his husband threw him a "funeral" birthday party, in which we were all to wear black, to celebrate the "death of twinkdom" for the birthday husband. I guess the other husband was tired of his 30 year-old man referring to himself as a twink.

So does your view of who's a twink expand as you get older? Do you believe a man in his 30s can be a twink? It definitely went against my grain to refer to BJ Pascual as a twink...
