4 hours ago4 hr I vaguely recall reading somewhere on the forum that it was cheaper to purchase a round trip ticket to USA originating in Asia rather than purchasing the travel to originate in USA. Does anyone know if that is actually the case or has anyone done that before? I am trying to decide if I should purchase my ticket for the return trip to Cambodia in March 2027 here in Cambodia through a travel agent as a RT from Siem Reap to Denver and back to Siem Reap. Would appreciate to know if anyone else has done this before. THANKS!

The price that you get originating in Cambodia will be in Cambodian currency (possibly), but you know how to deal with that conversion to compare prices.

I've found amazing business class deals into CCU in both Money or miles (Kolkata India) for example and then is a short 2 hour flight into Thailand -Cambodia area....BKK used to have great fares if you searched, but seems is too popular and haven't found any there in a LONG time.
