My year 2026 allowed me to finally end my tumultuous relationship with ThaiBF#2. Hallelujah!
As I write this reply today from my hotel in Bangkok Sukhumvit 26, I will this afternoon go to the nearby Philippine Embassy to pick up a key document that is required for my Philippine SRRV retirement visa request.
So, my planning for year 2027 includes to acquire my Permanent Residence (PR) in the Philippines. Here in Thailand it is nearly impossible to acquire PR status - especially for retirees. See below article.
The good news about the Philippine PR is that there is no residency requirement, so I will continue to keep my Jomtien residence while I go and explore the Philippines more in year 2027.

Hello, I have engaged all the places you mentioned, so I will share some of what I know.
The tip is fixed, it is shown on their website based on the duration etc, you don’t need to tip more. Payment is also collected upfront. Regarding the hygiene factor, in most/all cases, they will request for you to shower before beginning, they will also shower too. You can do it together especially if they go your place.
For more specifics about the places:
olive - communication was via LINE. I had a bad experience where he ghosted me btw. Admin does not speak English, he will use a translator from LINE. You can check the staff schedule on their website which admin will ask you to check before booking. Admin will not check for further/later dates for you.
Gym-k - communication was via email. They can reply to you in English. There was no massage here, the boy will go straight to it, if that is your thing? For the 2 I met, pictures are accurate, although they don’t share face pic beforehand. If you are polite and nice, admin could help you check for their availability beforehand (meaning beyond what their schedule shows in the website, and especially for the popular ones).
redline - communication was via WhatsApp. Admin can speak some English. You can see SOME of the boys face beforehand if you pay a 2000 yen deposit fee physically. This 2000 yen will only be offset if you make a reservation immediately, meaning when you meet your boy and assuming the agreed fee is 17000 yen, they will only collect 15000 from you because you paid the deposit. You will be asked to go down to a family mart location near Shibuya to meet. On top of the face pic that admin has, I was lucky enough to see a few boys physically there who are available on that day itself so if you get to see that, you can also choose the boy you like on the spot. reservation for redline is the most limited/short notice among the 3 places you mentioned as it can only be made 3 days in advance. Admin won’t help you check for availability even if you ask earlier (eg 1 week in advance).

if you have hotel reservation and/or ticket attach to application. I usually attach only one reservation , even if it's for just for one night and I'm going for a week. I wouldn't worry about bank statements or insurance unless you have copies of those easily available.
If you apply on that website , on top of 30 $ visa fee you will be charged 6 $ administration fee.
After several years of applying for visa on internet , last time , in July I decided to go for visa on arrival in Phnom Penh. It was extremely smooth process. All they wanted was passport and 30$, no other documents asked for , neither photo was required. It took probably 90 seconds. Visa was just small piece of paper, no photo , nothing. Don't lose it as they may want to ask for it on departure although they did not ask me . Not sure if in Siem Reap is equally smooth. Others may chip in .

be brave. I had the same qualms until I tried durian ice cream in Singapore. In my opinion durian and durian products don't smell as bad and don't taste as heavenly as legend has it although are leaving bit of lasting impression, in a rather good than bad sense.
Bringing durian to the hotel room and keeping it in the fridge is another story , once in Nantra Silom I asked to change room because of stench. There were full or it was what they said and it was my last time there. So I'm not surprised hotels are charging 2000-5000 penalty for bringing durian in.

Actually that really IS my preference, a good Japanese style ass wash rounded off with paper. In fact as @Travelingguy just said, the 100% ideal would be wash, blow dry and paper down. Just need a shave and polish to be as good as a car wash. And yes I appreciate Le Meridien’s facilities….its surprising how many far more expensive 5-star hotels in Bangkok do not have a bidet function.

I have two Japanese style toilet seatbidets in my house, and I love them. Neither one plays music. They really do get you clean and you can usually adjust water temperature, pressure, direction and pulsation (or not). Mine also have a drying function that works well. I use a small amount of toilet paper in the end to make sure everything is clean and dry. I use way less toilet paper than I did before with far better results. I highly recommend them.

Thanks for checking in, September is the month I travel with my boyfriend, so I’ve been a little MIA myself.
We started in Mexico City, then went to Denver, where I finally had the chance to meet @jimmie50 in person. From there, we traveled to Vancouver whored around a little there, lot's of hot Asians then boarded the first of two cruises (which we're still on) taking us down the California coast and into Mexico.
We’ll be home at the end of the month, and once I recover from the vacation, I’ll catch up on everything that’s been going on here. 😂

"Hi, Lee! Well, it has been interesting. Original plans got changed, so first few days we were at the family farm tending to the rice fields. Very rural with no cell service. Definitely what I call isolated. As I expected, the fence project wasn't finished, so we are currently in his hometown with family. Cam and I are fine. No problems there. Have no been online at all, so unable to post. Electricity is extremely expensive here, so once we got to his parents house I have avoided plugging anything in to charge other than my cell phone. Hope to be in Siem Reap Wednesday...finally. lol. Go with the flow is my theme song at the moment. ~Jim"

I have it on good authority that one of our members , rarely contributing here but familiar with both HotMale guys and jimmie50's story will be passing by both Siem Reap and Battambong mid October, he promised to have eyes opened in case he will see familiar boy's face with older farang in tag. I noticed that when I went up Jomtien Tower or whatever it's called early August , all along Jomtien beach water seemed to be yellow , far from ocean blue. My first thought was " thanks God I'm not a bitch (or is it beach ? ) person"

that seems to be worldwide phenomena, at least in developed and semi developed countries
