For many years now I have seen gay porn (especially Gay Asian dvd's) for sale at the stalls along Silom rd but on my last trip I didn't see any at the stalls (mind you I didn't ask either but should have) and put this down to the big "moral" clean up after the coup. So now to my question, does anyone know a good place in Bangkok where I can still purchase these types of dvd's (Silom, Sukhumvit etc)? When I'm not back in Thailand I like to watch the boys online but I would much prefer to have some dvd's to keep me warm at night (if you get my drift). I still saw some stalls selling sex toys but not a dvd in sight at them.

Panthip Plaza used to have DVD sellers all over, especially on the ground floor.

 

I haven't been in BKK for a little while though. My experience walking down Silom was always of guys with little signs saying something like "SEX DVD".

Walk slowly along Silom's night market and boys with porn will  find you, they don't have stalls just few covers of movies in their hands.

There is still porn on sale in Silom, but as far as I remember it's mainly whites. In saunas as well, they play predominantly white porn. Next time ask at one of the stalls if they have Asian.

There used to be for sale-neatly divided in west=farang, Thai, Yipun, Korean,at the evening/nightmarket near to sanam Luang, also near to Saran Rom boy pick-up place. Stalls selling had a large Thai P. Was 20 bt each/ some did 6 for 100-so now you know the Silom mark-up. had quite a few bel_ami DVDs from there, but what was on offer was changing all the time-and not the latest from US/EUR. Also had Thai, and some JPnese-which was tried to remove the JPnese decency filters. Christian has found this market has set up now in some place over the river in Thonburi

Ive bought Dvd,s on Dontang Beach. Sometimes there are many sellers but sometimes they are absent - I suppose it depends on the activities of the police. For me its often a case of thumbing through their pile if Im bored with no boys in sight. Its a bit hit and miss as the quality is variable. I usually buy one or two to play in my room in bed with my "boyfriend du jour". In March I was offered pen drives on which I was told there were many movies, but without the facility to play them in my hotel I didnt buy.

I presume that if you have a decent phone or tablet and an OTG lead (very little money on e-bay), it would be possible to view the videos on those USB drives whilst sat there on the beach.  So at least you prove they work.

 

Also in reply to Pong, I would very much like to see a selection of "export" Japanese DVDs without the pixellation required for their home market. Don't the Japanese producers realise there is a potential export market for that?
