Michael, this has to be one of the best trip reports I've ever seen on the net - it is just awesome and a mine of info.  Now you've got me planning a trip to Brazil next year!
It appears that rent boys are available all over the place.  Are the saunas the best places to grab a guy? I'd be a bit wary about cruising in the dark. And when you take the guy(s) back to the hotel, does the receptionist ask for the boy's ID?
