Question guys, I am considering my first trip to SP and will probably stay in Consolacão area near Thermas Lagoa, do you happen to know the internet speed in the area? I'm using a corporate software that needs a minimum of 25mbps.

I definitely agree plus the safety factor of not bringing in a stranger in your hotel. I always do carry a work laptop with access to personal data and with the GDPR thing so I'm more conscious about this now.

oh god SGN is BKK 20 yrs ago. Very few can speak english google translator app is a big help. I always use either Citadines or Ascott, I know these places are apartment types but I just like the bigger space plus I also work when I travel so bigger desk is a necessity. Never had a problem bringing someone inside. BTW to those who are planning to go the places now charges just around 1.5-2k Baht a night in Agoda these days, but of course you still have to spend time and money in a 14 days ASQ hotels.

Apparently this haven't pushed through (as of early January 2020) though the area is literally dead even before the March lockdown and was walled up. I guess the investors are on the wait and see mode because of COVID. They just literally closed the area for nothing. Judging from what happened during the 97' crisis it will be a full decade before this area recovers.

Ow I've been to Sweatbox as well, I guess pleasuredme is larger but Sweatbox being more downtown means more people.
