The Golden Dome is good place to visit and the entry fee is 800 baht cheaper than the more famous Calypso Cabaret. They have 4 shows a night which means you just show up and purchase your ticket in advance. The earliest show is at 5 and the latest at 9:30. Since you don't have to make a reservation in advance, Just get there an hour in advance of the show and you will probably get a really good seat. It is easy to get to from Suttisan station. The show is very entertaining with flamboyant costumes, musical acts and comedy skits. It is lip synching for sure but they are very professional, and a comedy routine that will involve guys or girls in the audience. Many of the ladyboys are so beautiful, you won't believe what you are seeing are in fact men who transform themselves into beautiful women. Of course some of the transformations will not be quite so appealing but that is life. When the show is finished they all come out so clients that wish to take photo with them can have a memorable photo. But of course a tip is expected.
