There will be a few superstars and again a few others who have the good fortune of landing a long-term, wealthy admirer, but in all likelihood, the vast majority makes far less. So I believe that the phenomenon exists--and has for many years--but are the women interviewed for the articles playing the foreign reporters along? Wouldn't be the first time.
