TotallyOz Posted February 5, 2007 Share Posted February 5, 2007 I have not lived in NYC for about 4 years. When I was there, I was very involved in the escort scene. I knew just about everyone that was working. I was browsing on this site, M4RNow and Rentboy today for an impending trip to the Big Apple. What I found was that not much has changed. Yes, there are some new faces but I was really surprised to find that many of the ones who were around 4 years ago are still around and working. I was also surprised to find that all 3 of the escort service sites I was familiar with: Campus, Maximum and Chelsea all had many of the same guys. Back many years ago, I knew many boys that just worked for a few years and then moved on. It seems that this trend has now vanished and has moved to a different level. It seems that many will want to stay around for years and years. Does anyone else see this? Also, what is happening to all the twinks? Should I scrap my trip to NYC and go to Montreal where there seems to be an abundance of them? If the twinks are not going to NYC now, where are they going? Probably one of the reasons among others that kevin6669 is completely booked 4 weeks before his trip . But you should know from your last trip to Montreal it is no better here. Unless you want to spend months at Unity with at best very mixed results in the actual sex department. I have to agree that some of the most beautiful twinks on earth are in Montreal (and I mean inside and out... they are such wonderful people)... though unlike in the past, they are no longer typically dancers or escorts. So I agree with firecat that it takes some effort to catch one. Worth it for me, because I am in love with the chase. But if you have no time for that, it might not be the place to be. In North America, I have to say that i have seen the most interesting twink escorts advertising in Socal (esp San Diego) and South Florida (mostly Orlando). These are both places that I believe have twink porn production companies... so maybe that's the reason. I will agree Orlando is a great playground for hot guys. I always enjoy going there or bringing people from there. To say that NYC escorts are doing it longer and longer might be true since you know of many that were there before. I do know that it seems in NYC is where I get the most outdated pictures or the guys with the most attitude. If I were an escort in NYC I would probably have an attitude alway if I was the one picked from so many choices..... But, it still is not so fun for the client if they have one. I have always found dancers and escorts in Montreal that I adore. I will admit that the twinks of years gone by have faded from the public view but they often come back for short spurts. It all depends on when you get there and how much flirting and spending you want to do. That is one of the reasons I enjoy Black and Blue weekend so much. I did enjoy the club scene there but it is a long process to find the one you want. As you know. I am ADD and my attention doesn't really last too long for a prolongued hunt. I haven't checked out South Florida but will give that a try sometime this year. I did make it down to San Diego and had a good time but didn't do much of the bar scene.
