Here are two sites. The first is a travel agent in Rio named Carlo Romano. I have used him a number of times and am very happy with him. He is not always prompt in replies but he gets the job done well and gets me a good rate at the Hotel Atlantico Copacabana. He has booked trips for me elsewhere in Brazil, too.

I second the recommendation of the GTB website. Traveling in Brazil can be a bit of a challenge, especially if you're not conversant in Portugese. Rio is a city where an unsuspecting tourist can easily be a mark.

The site is not particularly active right now. However, if you spend some time reading through posts, you'll find tons of useful information.

The owners of GTB are quite helpful in getting preferred rates at hotels for their clients. They also set up English conversant guides though I have never used one.

The Atlantico is a good hotel recommendation, though, you should be aware that it is currently going through a needed renovation. The rooftop pool, which s a delightful place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Copacabana during the day is currently closed.The Atlantico can be a little noisy due to traffic (as is nearly everything in Copacabana). GTB can get you a preferred reservation with a room preference away from street traffic.

Two of Rio's best escort saunas, Estacao and Pointe 202 are within a very short walk of the Atlantico. While you're there, you'll also want to visit 117 which has an outrageous selection of hot boys and men for hire. There are plenty of posts and pictures on GTB regarding all three of these saunas.

Late night dining at Corujina is productive. Again just a few block from the Atlantico, you'll find a number of the sauna boys hanging out there after the saunas close. If you didn't find what you liked at the saunas, you may well fuind it at Corujina.

The gay beach is in Ipanema right near mile post 6. There is definitely a great scene of fine boys including those for hire on the beach.

If you're so inclined, I highly recommend an hour flight to spend a day or two in Sao Paulo. It is a marvelous modern, cultural city. It's also the home of the holy grail of escort saunas, Lagoa, which is not to be missed. You'll find Sao Paulo very affordable and welcoming to English speaking tourists, has great restaurants as well as good entertainment options.

My hotel preference in Sao Paulo is the Paulista Plaza where an executive room can be had for $80 per night. It is very gay friendly. The neighborhood around the Paulista Plaza, Jardins, is one of Sao Paulo's best.
