Guest StuCotts Posted February 10, 2009 Share Posted February 10, 2009 There's a really offbeat little show of Guercino pieces at the Italian Cultural Institute, Park & 68th. It's worth the bus trip. So little of his stuff gets around. And there's no entrance fee! At the Frick, two minutes' walk away, there's a new show of five important pieces from the Norton Simon collection. In this case there's a fee, but it's cheaper than flying to CA. That area is more pisselegant than the law allows, but the side streets are interesting for some really arresting architecture.
