The owners are onsite at all times to make sure that you are enjoying your stay. They are very funny and very welcoming to the gay and lesbian community. No problem to bring a new found friend back to visit you at the hotel. The owner speaks a little english, and his wife doesn't speak any at all--however they will arrange for an english speaking guide if you wish. The rooms are very clean, and a nice hot breakfast is served daily either in your room or outside the terrace. Its difficult to get much information at this time but it appears that the High Park in Bogota is no more but there is now a High Park Hotel in Cartagena in an outlying neighborhood not too far from the walled city.
