I wouldn't say this.....Last place I lived in was Houston, robberies, beatings, shootings....daily life. Plus we've all heard about Chicago and Miami I can speak about Brasil....we warn people ALL THE TIME, with reason. EVERY GP I know has a story of being robbed at by gun or knife, day or night. Myself included, a couple of times. Can't use your cell phone in the street or in a car/bus with an open window without fear of it being snatched. Brasil has the famous "Good night Cinderella" Colombia has Devil's Breath, which I was a victim of. Anyone that knows me, knows the types of "trouble" that I've gotten into (largely my fault for not following the warnings) being in the wrong place at times I shouldn't be. I currently live in the safest city in Mexico....however, things happen here too.

I Like PVR and have had lots of fun, but too many queens from CA go there for my taste. Monterey has a great gay sex scene and tons of opportunities. Mexico city is always fun, in my eyes.

Generally......Had someone steal the key from the neighbor that cleans the apt I stayed at and showed up when he knew I'd be out, even stole the whole suitcase. Luckily I didn't keep valuables in the apt. Had a friend walking in old Havana, someone riding on a bike rode by and rippid his gold chain off his neck. Had various little things taken, like nail clippers, sunglasses, etc.... that you don't realize until you go to use it. Had a cop come to my room to collect his payoff for not arresting my Cuban friend for peeing in the street. I could go on....is pretty safe...but I've had more thievery happen in Cuba than Rio or Bangkok....your mileage may vary

You are talking about Cuba the country, right??? I'd never categorize Cuba, the country like this, lol Sex for free or sex for money...which costs more.....sex for free. Was supposed to leave tomorrow for Brasil....I've had both vaccines (Moderna) and the last few days I thought I had a cold or flu, got tested today for the trip and it was positive for Covid. Hearing many people being vaccinated yet asymptomatic , yet I had symptoms. So, I'm not being very optimistic about cruises re-opening and latest reports of Asian countries having more outbreaks.....Cancun is going into red stage Tomorrow.......
