Many of the guys when I ask how much, they reply "one million baht"......I hope you didn't fall in love 😝 That's enough to ask the receiving bank what the exchange rate is....and ask a couple of banks. My 1st large transfer to Mexico I sent in USD thinking like @Moses logic.... but each bank has a different exchange rate, not as standard as you'd think and I got screwed. Had I used Chase exchange rate and sent pesos, I would've been better off. Doesn't hurt to ask first.... sucks to find out later you got screwed.... like the DCC at ATM machines, lol

Check what the sending bank gives as a rate...then check the receiving bank to see what their USD conversion is, plus any potential fees.....then make the decision. It's not a universal number....some banks are bigger rip off's than others and exchange rates can vary, considerably, that it'll hurt if the transfer is large enough.

I drink Bacardi, mixed...I don't like sipping rums, but most enthusiasts do. I don't know much about gin, but from a gin site about drinking gin like Vinapu, straight, the gin that is.: Not only can you drink gin neat but it's actually the best way to try a bottle of gin, at least for the first time. Some gin enthusiasts prefer this way of drinking gin completely compared to mixing it with tonic or in a cocktail as doing so allows you to experience its full spectrum of flavours.

The better whiskey's are meant to be straight or on the rocks, sipped....if you're going to mix them, no sense in paying a premium and losing the taste of the higher end ...this goes for any liquor.

I mean it as this....I got my 1st bottle of fake alcohol in Rio a few weeks ago, is more prevalent in Thailand...mafia/drug lords make a lot of money distributing fake alcohol at a reduced price ... since I only drink Bacardi, it's very obvious to me when it happens.
