To be fair, I've never had this issue with Arena, which is sort of my go to place for massage + some fun. That is why I chalked this up to lack of chemistry (or maybe it's just me lol) especially since JeySpa often gets good reviews here.

Haha as it so happens, I am not competitive too! Also, I tend to go back to my usual guys aside from the occasional case of trying a new guy, usually when my regular guys are not around or someone really catches my eye. Same here. I find it sweet that he remembered a lot of things even after a couple of years since we last met. I guess so. I think the fact that it was so blatant was what caught me off guard and pissed me off. Final Part: Bars Moonlight Moonlight is a bar that I would visit at least once in every trip, mainly due to nostalgia. For many years during the time Jupiter was here, this was my favourite place (aside from Tawan). I like the stage & seat layouts as well as the boys & shows. Nowdays though, the selection of boys are too small and consists of guys that are more of the "boy next door" type, twinks & twinkish guys. On this occassion, I had just escaped from Tawan (2nd visit) and wanted to relax while watching a good show (the models who perform at Moonlight are hot). I got in about 15mins before the show and there were probably less than 5 other customers & around 10 boys rotating on stage. To my surprise, a boy I offed several times a couple of years ago and who went back to his home country is back at the bar (I'll call him "A" here). I was delighted! I remembered A as a really nice guy and my experiences with him had always been good, so I was sad when I learned that he went back home a few years ago. Anyway, A saw & recognized me from the stage, gave a huge smile and a wai. I called him over for a drink and we spent a lot of time catching up on what has been happening since we last saw each other. He mentioned a lot of things from our past encounters and still remembered my preferences (including my drink orders!). I wasn't planning to off anyone that night so, having learned from past mistakes, I took A's contact details instead and arranged for a meetup the next day after lunch. For this night though, he stayed with me and we watched the show together. He was more handsy & touchy than what I'm generally comfortable with, but I enjoyed it because it's A. Before I headed off, gave him some tips for his time. Drinks : THB 500 for mine, THB 450 for A's drink. On the next day, after some delays, A came over to my hotel and we had a great time. He was as horny & affectionate as I remembered (maybe a little more aggressive, in a good way 🤣). The moment I closed the door, he was already hugging and kissing my neck. His clothes were already off before we made it to the bedroom. We did everything I enjoyed doing, him remembering how I like things and we came together. This visit to Moonlight was perhaps one of the best decision I made during this trip. Jupiter I visited the bar 3x during this trip and had the one of the best and also one of the worst experiences offing boys. The selection of boys was actually alright, with some nights having more models than others. However, there were not that many customers on all the nights I was there. Compared to my previous trip (where most seats were occupied), more than 1/2 of the seats were empty. The shows were pretty much the same old routine, so nothing exciting there. Well, the real highlight of Jupiter to me is obviously the boys. 1st drink: THB 500, 2nd/boy's drink: THB 450. I'm going to share my experiences with 2 of the boys here, so I'll call them "B" and "C". The mamasan actually recommended them (together with a few other boys from the line up) after asking my preferences. With Jupiter, it was pretty well known that some of the boys don't go with male customers. So, I thought the mamasan's input on this would be helpful as I don't want to waste time on those boys. Model "B" On the first night I was at Jupiter, I invited B over to accompany me for a drink. B was one of the models the mamasan recommended and is supposedly ok to go out with male customers. He is a muscular guy, handsome and performs in the sexy shows. When he came over, the conversation started pleasant enough. After getting his drink and asking some surface level questions, things quicky became awkwardly silent. I tried keeping the conversation going and asking more questions about him but got one liner answers instead (and no, pretty sure it wasn't a language issue as he understood and spoke English well enough earlier). He was not making any eye contact with me and just waited for me to ask questions. Closer to the show time and after some awkward silence, he asked me point blank on whether I wanted to off him. I told him I'm not sure yet, to which he replied he had to go get ready for his show. Now, I know this is common in other bars as well if the guy also performs in the shows. What was shocking was how gulped his drink to a finish and just left. He didn't even wait for any tips or mentioned anything about returning. He took the small piece of paper that the boys will get with every drink a customer buys them (guessing is for their cut of the fee) and took that straight to the payment counter, which to me meant that he has no intention of returning. Before the show started, they had the boys do a walk again. When B walked near me (I was seated close enough that the boys will definitely see me), he didn't spare even a glance (let alone any acknowledgment that he was seated with me for a drink just moments ago). To say I was pissed is an understatement. This was, by far, my worst experience with a boy who I haven't even offed yet. During the show, the mamasan came to me and asked whether I'd like to off B as another customer was interested. I told the mamasan I wasn't interested. Finished my drink and left after the show. Model "C" Honestly, after the experience with B, I was not really keen on going back to Jupiter. However, after a let down at Tawan (my first visit on this trip), I found myself back at Jupiter. The same mamasan came to me again with recommendations, which I basically ignored at first. The boys did their rounds (and yes, B passed by me again and same as before, didn't even make any eye contact). On this night, the mamasan was quite persistent about recommending a guy, "C", throughout the night. Now, C was someone I had my eye on during my last trip but a different mamasan told me he only goes with girls, so I didn't bother anymore after that. I mentioned what I heard to this mamasan but he assured me that C can go with both guys and girls. So, closer to the end of the shows and after the mamasan's persistent push (not to mention my disappointing experience at Tawan), I told the mamasan I'd like to invite C over for a drink. C is also one of the models who performed in the sexy shows, so I had to wait until the shows are over. C has a lean, muscular body and is good looking (to me at least). Looking at him during the walks, he has that confident demeanor but seemed a little cold, so I was rather curious on why the mamasan was pushing so much for me to off him. Anyway, he came over and sat with me. To my pleasant surprise, he was actually really friendly and we had a pleasant chat that night. He was not touchy and handsy at all (compared to A), which honestly works better for me (I know some here prefer to "sample" the guys at the bars first but I'm a little more reserved). Besides, my initial intention in asking him over was just to satisfy my own curiosity but I am so glad that I did invite him over. As it was already late night, I told him that I am not looking to off him tonight but will come again the next night to off him, if he is interested. He said yes, mentioning that he was also tired from his trainings during the day and performing in the shows earlier. So, I handed him some tips for the company and headed back to my hotel for the night. True to my words, I came back the next night. It was still about 30-40mins before the show and the boys were already walking during one of their rounds. C saw me during the walk, shot a huge smile and gave a quick handshake before continuing with his walk. What a pleasant change from B, who (again) walked past me without any eye contact!. Anyway, I invited C for a drink after the walk and we chatted a bit more about his preferences and what I'm into (he's straight so he was upfront about the few things he does not do, which I am perfectly ok with). Closer to the show time, he excused himself to prep for the show but told me he would come back. And that he did. After the show was over, he came back to finish his drink and I decided to off him. Off Fee: THB 500. Once out of the bar, he seemed more relaxed and we chatted all the way. I realized that he actually has a cheeky personality, flirting at random times as we made our way back to the hotel. Once at the hotel, I cleaned up first before him (he mentioned later that he was still a little shy to get naked in the shower together as this was our first session). When he came out all fresh, we started slowly and things progressed at really good pace to a really good ending 🤣. As he got more comfortable with me, his cheekiness came out during our session and I loved it. A lot of teasing and even dirty talks. The session felt like a mutual thing rather than the one-sided experience I felt at Jey Spa. We finished together and cleaned up, before going into the shower together. He was actually sweet enough that I was tempted to ask if he wanted to do a long time but decided against it (I had an early morning session planned with my companions on this trip). After showering, we relaxed a little and chatted more. He gave some recommendations on bars and cafes I could check out, some of which looked pretty cool on insta. Eventually, I accompanied him out after giving his fee for the session. And yes, I did get his contact number and told him I'll give him a head's up before my next trip to BKK. I visited Jupiter one last time on my last night (after my session with A during the day) just to kill some time after dinner. C saw me from the 2nd floor and waved. I asked him over for one last drink, chatted a bit before the show started. He thought I already left BKK, so was surprised to see me there. Told him I'll be flying out the next day. We chatted a bit more before he had to go prep for the show. I told him I wasn't staying long, so gave him some tips and said my goodbyes. I left the bar mid-show to prepare for my departure. So, there you go. That was the last part of my experiences at the bars/spa. All in all, it was a good trip and I was happy with the offs I had during the trip. Looking forward to my next trip here (solo, hopefully )😊.

Exactly this! With my regular guy from FB (and the new ones I've met on this trip), I've made it a point to request for their contact details. They were more than happy to meet without going to the bar. If I am meeting any of them during their usual bar hours, I'd usually still add the bar's off fee on top of the guy's tip. But you'll definitely save on the drinks etc. While having fun at a massage parlor or spa is definitely cheaper, I personally prefer offing guys from the bar. Having the model accompany me for a drink first usually (though not always) helps me get a read on the chemistry between us and the likely outcome of any fun session if I were to off him. There is no obligation to off, I still get to enjoy the shows in the bar and zoom in on other potential offs if the guy accompanying me doesn't feel like a good fit.

During the time I was at the bar, I only saw 1 boy who changed clothes and went with a customer. Several boys were invited by customers to sit and drink though.

I'm sure you can figure this out quickly, especially if you've frequented Jupiter around 14-15 years ago. There are only a few more feminine guys performing at Tawan (and sometimes in rotation). I did walk by this bar but didn't go in. The tout in front of the bar was persistent and seemed pissed when I refused his call to go in. I get this and I understand the logic. For me at least, the lack of chemistry is something I will undoubtedly feel during the service, no matter how much a guy tries to fake it. As @vinapu pointed out, some would noticed while others might not. When I do encounter a situation like this, I don't bother kicking up a fuss and risk spoiling the rest of my trip. I just make the best of the situation and avoid repeating the mistake. It would, of course, be an entirely different thing if the guy does not deliver at all or if the service is significantly worse than what was discussed.

Part 2: Bars Dreamboys & Fresh Boys I visited Fresh Boys first before hopping over to Dreamboys in the same night. Fresh Boys had a lot more customers than what I expected given that it is the low season. They also have a lot of available boys, most of whom are either twink, twinkish or the guy next door type. I didn't off anyone here, just came for a drink and to watch the show. I knew ahead of time that my usual guy from here isn't in BKK at the moment, so I just wanted to check out the other guys available. Their show was not that different from my last trip earlier this year, so nothing much to comment on. Mamasan was a little persistent but not as bad as Tawan, which I will share a bit more on later. I did find a few of the guys to be cute with nice bodies, so just shared a few red notes before heading out. First drink: THB 450. Dreamboys had pretty much the same guys and shows as my last few trips, so also not much to report on. Perhaps one good news is that the guy I had a horrible experience with in my last trip is not on rotation, so hopefully he's left the bar scene completely. Another guy I invited for a drink in my last trip recognized me but I wasn't really in the mood to have him over during this visit so I just smiled back in acknowledgement. Mamasan was probably the most relaxed one among all the bars I visited during this trip, only came twice to check if I was interested in anyone but politely left me alone when I said no. First drink: THB 500. Tawan I visited the bar twice during this trip and I have to say that Tawan was the biggest disappointment for me in this trip. Firstly, the selection of guys was worse compared to my previous trip. Except for 2 or 3 guys who were more muscular or slim fit, the rest were either chubby or skinny or just average (at least during the two occassions I was there). A far cry from the bodybuilder bar I was looking forward to visit for months. I went twice to Tawan in hopes of meeting my usual bodybuilder guys but they were not there on both occassions (made a mental note to get the Line IDs of the guys I offed during this trip). Secondly, the pushy mamasan. It was worse now compared to my previous trip. Two of the mamasans had, on separate occassions, asked me to buy them a drink, despite sitting next to me without any invitation. "No" doesn't seem to work, so I just ignored both of them after a while. When I tipped a boy I recognized from a previous trip, a mamasan watching from a short distance away came to ask for a tip as well (not sure what he thought he did to deserve a tip). During the fucking show (yes, the fucking show is back) and big dick show, the guys moved around as usual asking for tips. I did share a few red notes with the familiar faces but politely declined the rest. I did discover two interesting things at Tawan in this trip. The first is that there is an European (German, I think) boy in the roster. Apparently, he's an acquaintance of the owner or something. He's good looking, but not really a bodybuilder or muscular. I did get him a drink during the first visit, mainly out of curiosity on how he ended up here. He seemed like an easy going guy, good at keeping a conversation and hasn't picked up the habit of pushing to get tipped/offed (at least not yet). I would've offed him just because I think he is cute, but had other plans during this trip so just gave him some tips for the company. The second was that a guy I offed many years ago at the old Jupiter is now at Tawan. He changed so much that I didn't recognize him at first. Back at Jupiter, he was this hunky muscular guy that I had a huge crush on (I was young and dumb, so yeah). I had offed him a couple of times back then to accompany me to drinks and once or twice for short time fun. But it was clear during those sessions that he was not remotely interested. Anyway, fast forward to now, seems like he transitioned to become a feminine, slender twink. Not sure what happened over the years but I do wish him well. First drink here: THB 500.

I am not sure what the official rating is but to me at least, I do think that it deserves a 5-stars rating. The service, the staff, the room, the cleanliness are all amazing. The only thing I find slightly lacking is the breakfast selection.

I did see Chapter 6 but didn't really get a chance to try it. Good to know you've had a few good sessions there, will give it a try next time I'm at the hotel (yes, there will likely be a next time). Honestly, location wise, I still prefer Quarter Saladaeng as it is within walking distance to the bars but the room at Ascott is definitely way better and also quieter. I don't hear any noise from my neighbour's "recreational activities", as I sometimes do at Quarter. 🤣

Yes, this is true. One of the things I liked about Jey Spa is that each massuer has already indicated their minimum tip upfront (usually in their poster) and the Line manager will also give you a breakdown of the total cost upfront before confirming your appointment. Not sure if he would give BJ but to be fair to him, he did try to give a HJ towards the end but it felt awkward, so I just jerked off myself. That's why I assumed it was a lack of chemistry thing (maybe I was just not his type lol). Hey guys, I just came back from a short trip to Bangkok and thought I'd share a brief account of my experiences with the bars & spa. I was in the company of a few others, so my time exploring the bars & spa is somewhat limited, but hope it'll provide some useful info for others. Part 1 Arrival I arrived at DMK on a weekend and it was rather quiet. The airport itself is fairly small, so the total time spent from the gate to the exit was less than 15 mins. FYI, apparently now you'd have to get your DTAC from the gov's app, THIM. It was fairly easy to set up an account and apply for your DTAC. At the immigration check, I wasn't asked to show the DTAC QR nor was there any enquiry about my available funds (which, apparently, may be asked randomly by the officers). Hotel I am a frequent guest at the Quarter Saladaeng but this time, I decided to stay at Ascott Sathorn (not Ascott Embassy, which is also in Sathorn). Right outside the hotel is Saint Louis BTS station, so quite easy to move around the city or to the bars in Silom. My booking also came with 2x BTS day passes, so that's a point. The breakfast selection is not that different from Quarter Saladaeng but the gym is much smaller. Plenty of restaurants and cafes in the vicinity and no issues with bringing guys back to the room. There is a restaurant/bar at the hotel that opens early and closes late, in case you don't feel like going out. Apps As usual, plenty of guys available for hire on the apps but not as many as what I saw back in February. I'm not sure why but I guess something to do with the low season?. A few of them did reach out to me, quoting between THB 2000 to THB 4000 (yes, you read that right) but I didn't hire anyone from the apps. Spa I only tried one place during this trip: JeySpa. I follow their Line account, so I always see the selection of guys available. I texted them in the morning of my visit for recommendations of boys and shared my preferences. A few boys were recommended to me and I ended up booking a 1 hour session with JJ in the Suite Room. The rates I paid: THB 1250 to the spa (can be paid either by card or cash before the session) & THB 1500 to the massuer (cash only after the session). I was told that the rates for tips can go anywhere between 1500 to 2000, depending on the guy you pick. I arrived at the spa a little earlier but JJ was already there. After a few mins of getting the room ready, I was led to the room. It was actually quite a nice room, much better than Arena's premium room (and a little pricier, too) with ensuite shower and toilet. I showered first and when I finished, JJ came in and started the session. JJ is definitely muscular and has a defined body and huge dick. He was friendly during the massage, asking questions about me and my trip. The massage itself was alright (not amazing but not bad either). After spending quite some time massaging my back and legs, he asked me flip. I thought he would spend some time massaging my upper body and front part of my legs but he went straight in for some nipple play (I was a tad bit disappointed but just went along with it). I told him that I was not looking for any anal fun at the moment and just some mutual light, side fun. He seemed a little lost and not sure on what else he can do other than let me play with his body (which I gladly did). I've read about Nature Boy and Golden Cock when I first joined the forum a few years ago but never really stopped by either one. From what I can gather, they're more of the "sleazier" version of the boy bars. I'm hoping to visit Nature Boy at least once in my upcoming trip. Does the bar open around the same time as the other boy bars? I'm guessing the usual off and tips practices apply here as well 😅.

I've experienced this in my last few trips. The approach of the Tawan boys now are more aggressive compared to the old Tawan. That said, some of the guys who have been around since the old Tawan are still alright, they can take "no" for an answer. Among the rest, there are a few that are persistent.

Ah I see. And these are conversations that happen after you've picked a guy and are in the room with him? Presumably, with places like this, it is not a conversation you will have with the manager on the role, what the guy can do etc. before deciding on who to go with (as with some of the more "hard" massage centres)?
