I just got back... was good and quick service. They quoted me 25,000 thb for an MRI and I countered at 15,000... this is Thailand after all. They accepted and in the end the final bill was 17,495 Baht with all the extras and Dr fees. He wanted to admit me for 1 night for observation, I declined and he seemed like I just declined buying a time share from him.... only negative impression I had... all the staff were great and efficient. I also declined buying the prescriptions from the hospital because I had seen in comments on various sites, saying to buy them outside at a much cheaper rate. When I questioned the Dr about that, he just smiled and said they aren't wrong, lol I just talked to a American friend in Rio... he recently had an MRI, full blood work, 6 hours observation and 3 specialists exams for $210 usd.... he thought Thailand would be cheaper.... not 2.5 times more 😵

Maybe this is a good place to ask about hospitals.... Twice in 4 days I had an episode of blurry/starry vision in one of my eyes lasting just a couple of minutes.... I'm in Bali, heading to Thailand tomorrow, planned going to Pattaya. I searched Dr. Google about what could be the cause of this.... seems like a possibility could be mini strokes or a Transient ischaemic attack. Am I over reacting... because all of the advice is get to an ER to make sure a major stroke isn't on the way....😵 If that's the case, which hospital would you go to, Pattaya...or cxl and stay in BKK to go to a hospital ER...and which would you go to ??
