  1. Nothing new here: "Side" is another way to say "No anal".
  2. The shame, the shame! I used to take 5 boys a day. Nowadays down to 4 ,.Even only 3..... 😅What am I to do?!?
  3. Thank you Olddaddy for the interesting topic. Maybe its only me but i have found that a fair few of the people on certain dating apps give misleading profiles and photos. Either "doctored" photo's or old photos and sometimes photos of someone else. Their plan is once they get in your door even though they are not the same as their profile/photo the customer will still take the bait. Often it works!
  4. It is not normal. Possibly the boy had a bad experience when a cutomer did not pay him after sex. But that is not your problem. And anyway maybe he perfomed badly with another customer and non payment or lesser payment was justified. Leaving payment to the end is an incentive for the boy to do well; paying up front is the opposite.
  5. From what I saw usual type of show- similar other bars-I not stay long in bar so maybe others can give more info.😀
  6. Further along from Mango Tree restaurant, this new bar opened last night: 2 May. Whoever the owners are they have put a lot of work into this comfortable place with decent seating etc. There is a show and a selection of boys and staff. My drink @ Bicardi was 350 baht and only time will tell if this new establishment will succeed: Worth a visit!

  8. "why should tourists bother to come if all entertainment venues are closed there are better options at other countries" Exactly...as they say: All dressed up with nowhere to go 😯
  9. a glimmer of hope?!: Tourism Minister proposes reopening entertainment venues November 1 | Thaiger (thethaiger.com) -But not in BKK...
  10. Done it now for 3 years plus in BKK and no problem. A few times need to wait a while to get the receipt returned but apart from that all OK. You need to send it in by registered post and also I have found its also useful the self addressed return envelope should also be stamped and registered. As an added security measure when getting the return envelope stamped etc at the post office take a photo of the envelope with the registered number on it and before putting it in the envelope to Immigration.
  11. Thank you TotallyOz for this very useful update. I have read the first part of the Intervac update which reads: "Registration for COVID-19 vaccination appointments on ThailandIntervac.com has already been closed, but the Department of Disease Control has adapted the service to make it more convenient and secure for foreigners in Thailand to register. The new vaccine appointment method will be via booking in advance or “pre-registration” with the following hospitals. Notes: Pre-registration is registration to express intention to receive the COVID-19 vaccination at one of the designated hospitals. After registration, you must wait for the appointment confirmation from the hospital for the vaccine as per the proposed date and time. Notes: Pre-registration is registration to express intention to receive the COVID-19 vaccination at one of the designated hospitals. After registration, you must wait for the appointment confirmation from the hospital for the vaccine as per the proposed date and time." -So my reading of this is no need to try to register with Intervac but book directly with the hospital? Or have I misunderstood it? Thx.
  12. Foreign nationals with the non-immigrant O-A visa, sometimes known as a retirement visa, will in the future have to prove they have insurance coverage of at least US$100,000 (three million baht) against Covid-19. Covid cover needed for long-stay O-A visas (bangkokpost.com) ps : But many of us retiress here have the Non "O" visa, so not applicable as yet to us....right?
  13. I may sound very uncaring but I can find very little sad about this story. If there is more info i may withdraw my lack of sympathy. However: If anyone come to live long time in Thailand , need to have sufficient resources.,insurance and sense. If a person comes with that but runs out of money then simply return to yoyr home country.
  14. "In July, Phuket will be the first province to waive the quarantine requirement for foreign visitors who have been vaccinated, as part of the government's plan to reopen the country." Phuket to rekindle tourism (bangkokpost.com) -So if a visitor enters Phuket after 1st July whats to stop them travelling to Bangkok or Pattaya etc?
  15. "Patpong on its last legs" "The vivid lights of Patpong Road are slowly ebbing away as many bars and clubs cannot keep their heads above water. Many bars are taking their last gasps of air amid an economic slump caused by the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic last year." Patpong 'on its last legs' (bangkokpost.com)
  16. "As expected, the Thai government has given the green light for Bangkok’s nightlife to re-open with some degree of normality. At a meeting on Monday afternoon, it was confirmed that bars, pubs and restaurants can now open until 11pm and serve alcohol. Live music is also permitted but dancing is not allowed. The move comes as the Thai capital and surrounding areas were among a number of provinces to be downgraded from a ‘High Controlled Area (red) to Controlled Area (orange). Other provinces downgraded to the Controlled Area include Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan, Tak, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram and Nakhon Pathom. Only Samut Sakhon remains under the highest level of restrictions, with bars and pubs there ordered to remain closed. When the new measures will go into effect will depend on the provincial governor of each province, with announcements due imminently. At the time of posting, the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority is yet to make an announcement on when the re-opening would come into effect, although it is expected bars and pubs will be able to re-open as early as Tuesday (23 Feb)." 17. " I don't know what to do"/" I have no doubt what they have told me is the truth." Dear oh dear.... Is this posting for real or what? On the one hand these neighbours are living in a place with no electric for months and seem to only have a tomato to eat; but then again they take a daily taxi to stock up at the supermarket... hmmm... And you OP... give em a loan and then bring them 3 bottles of wine...and later on give them more money... hmmm.. Have you heard the expression: ' every good deed deserves to be punished'? Surely its for their embassy or relatives, etc to sort out, not you?! Probably they have been sponging/scrouging many others already and you are a 'sucker" whom they think can provide them more...and more...and more... Likely their visa have run out and they are living here illegally but who knows...and who cares...it ain't your problem unless you continue to make it so. Sometime have to be firm and its kinder to say: 'I have helped enough. DO NOT ask for anything more.' (ie = Be a man)... For people who are or want to live in Thailand its crucial to have sufficient money for living expenses and proper health insurance. If not then: Return home, voluntarily or not..
  18. Interesting post. My understanding is that the Oxford vaccine is on its way to Thailand.. or here already.and I thought I read that the private sector can purchase a quantity. Also some Euro countries try to claim the Oxford Vaccine not effective for those over 65; the issue has been denied by both the UK and the WHO.( But is a clue to what Bumrungrad may soon be offering as survey aimed at under 65's). So my guess is Bumrungrad will soon be privately offering the Oxford vaccine....just my speculation!
  19. Thai media Siam Rath went down to Pattaya to investigate after the words "La Laew Pattaya" - Goodbye Pattaya - were trending on Facebook site Pattaya Talk. It appeared that everyone was loading their possessions onto pick-ups and heading back to the villages. There were supportive comments but there was no hiding the abject depression. Pattaya, once packed full of tourists and life especially in the high season is now deserted. To confirm this Siam Rath went to the resort and saw that many apartment complexes were for sale or lease - some didnt have a single person staying in them any more. Phasakorn Suntharot - the owner of Suntharot Apartment - said that his tenants started to leave during the first wave of the pandemic. Then just when it looked like there was to be a recovery along came the second wave. His tenants were all people who worked in the entertainment industry and they have just gone home to save money. He has just one room rented out now. Pattaya has nothing left, he lamented. Goodbye Pattaya! Almost everyone in the entertainment industry has left - apartment complexes empty - Pattaya News - Thailand Visa Forum by Thai Visa

  24. https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/1942820/nightlife-to-resume-some-foreigners-allowed-in "All night entertainment venues, including wet massage parlours, will open their doors again on Wednesday and some foreigners will be allowed into the country, but not tourists, as virus lockdown restrictions are further eased. The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) on Monday gave the greenlight for all remaining entertainment facilities to reopen from Wednesday. They include pubs and bars, karaoke bars, and bath-sauna-massage establishments. " "All reopening premises will be required to use the Thai Chana platform, created to alert businesses and customers to any Covid-19 outbreak. Investors and highly skilled workers from Japan, China, South Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore will be allowed entry to the country on condition they enter a self-sponsored quarantine programme at private facilities arranged by the government. Short-term business visitors will be exempt from the requirement. Foreigners who have family in Thailand, and those who have homes in the kingdom, will also be allowed to return, according to the spokesman. Allowing in tourists from countries matched up with Thailand through a "travel bubble" did not get the full approval of board members of the CCSA, which is chaired by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha. Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said health safety measures still have to be ironed out for Thai tourists going to other countries, and foreign tourists arriving here. The Disease Control Department and Foreign Ministry were still working on guidelines which were also acceptable to partner countries, which have different health requirements, said Mr Anutin, whose Bhumjaithai Party guides health and tourism policies. Foreigners coming to Thailand for medical treatment will be permitted in from Wednesday, but they must be accompanied by their partner, and enter quarantine at the hospital they go to. “Only some medical tourism programmes, not all of them, will be permitted,” Dr Taweesilp said. The decision to open up more businesses, and some travel, was made after more than a month without any new local infections being recorded in Thailand. The meeting also agreed to extend use of the emergency decree until the end of July. Restrictions were earlier lifted on restaurants, schools, malls and many sports activities - with enforcement of social distancing and body temperature checks. " Note: But closed over the weekend for Buddha holidays...
