while 5000 / day sounds steep at first , when one looks at it with cold eye is still good deal. We have boy at disposal more or less whole day if only for hug , hand holding and stolen kiss most of the daytime and chances for steamy session whole night if so desired. It turned out that we need to buy helmet /800 / and his admission was the same as mine - 500. So I spent 1300 extra and he was not that interested in sightseeing but at least soldiered on without complains.

while Prince was never my first choice / I know other's may object / I don't recall being short cut on time there, old Hero was bigger sinner in that respect. But then I have a habit of visibly checking time when we enter room so I guess guys get a message perhaps

Talk to your chosen one first as it may vary enormously , not to mention he may not be as keen as you wish. On another hand he may be thrilled to have some vacation. You will need to pay his off fee and daily expenses / food , drinks , admissions etc/ Tip will depend on extend of erotic services you may or may not require from him. Few year ago I took Boyztown guy to BKK for 5 days and we agreed on 1000 baht daily stipend plus 3000 for each night we spent together / not all we did / , at end , after 5 days he extracted an additional 2000 parting tip from me but I was and still am glad to pay it. Year later I took Tawan boy to Pattaya for 2 days and all he wanted was paying off fee and expenses and he turned out to be very frugal. On both occasions idea was boy's not mine so I kind of had upper hand on negotiations. So as you see , rules of engagement may vary considerably. You don't want to take somebody who tends to spent his time glued to his phone 65 minutes for every hour or empties your room bar without even asking if he can.

Keep in mind that jet lag often bites hardest on 2nd day as first day we are running on adrenaline and excitement of being in new place. As for Bangkok being more expensive than expected old travelers tale ' bring half stuff and twice as much money' always help to cope.

while this may or may not be truth, all reports on fora should be take with grain of salt, specially if we really don't know person forming an opinion ( for example I'm not demanding when comes to food I may be praising , somebody other , more demanding , will consider barely edible ). It's best to follow your guts , go and see for yourself. Not heading such advice as mine above kept me from ever putting my food in Tawan for my first 8 or 9 trips, only when I finally came to sense I realized what I was missing

welcome to the forum Since you mentioned Tawan twice in your question this is where you should start, if you like what you see , return next night, if you don't, next night or even later first evening visit Moonlight and Dreamboys in any order. Other option is to pay off fee for chosen Tawan guy , tell him you will pick him up later and go to see one of other tow bars. You can also drag him with you there if he wants. some boys may be thrilled to see other bar , others definitely not. Try to get boy short time for 2000 , long time if so inclined for 3000 but hunks may want more and Moonlight models most likely so. I'd agree on a tip beforehand to avoid nasty scene with well built guy !. In Tawan boys are circulating freely so one of them may sit beside but if you not interested just ignore him politely. They saw it all and will not force themselves upon you. If you engage him in conversation it will cost you a drink for him and 100 baht , perhaps 200 tip , depending on timer he will spent with you . In Moonlight and Dreamboys it may be mamasan who will try to engage you in tip dispensing , feel free to ingore such advances unless you want somebody to talk to, nothing wrong with that. Arema is good choice but when walking on Silom and Suriwong have eyes opened as staff of many massage shops is sitting outside and somebody may catch your fancy.

fair assessment above but in most of those places upkeep is in sync with prices charged. Prices in more classy and shiny places like MyHero or Prince are higher and unfortunately so are minimum tips. So we need to weight, based on our internal preferences , whether marble showers stall and new towels are worth of an additional outlay or not.
