you will hire guide to show you around. He will show you places where you can hire your consolation as well. Or you want to have sex with guide? I doubt there's such a site with both offers in the same breath as we are talking different attributes. Knowledgeable and fun to be with in ordinary sense guide may not taste, sexy boy you are lusting for may have problem navigate Suriwong from Silom .

if you still there try Magnolia as well, better appointed that those two. you probably missed whole Boyztown massage offer - in none of the three places there's danger of seeing too young or too effeminate. I'm curious why not having shower in the room bothers you - security, cleanliness or you just like gymnastics in the shower with the boy and are not keen of doing it in semi-public space? Anyways with Royal House and Narcissus you picked up very well, always hunks at Royal, always fun at Narcissus

I know you are trying to help but for cheapskates like me very thought of spending money on business class would cause sleep deprivation. I rather suffer cattle class sleepless indignities for half of that price and use money saved this way to waste on massages, drinks, off fees and boy's tips. At end of day I believe I have more fun laying flat with Tawan hunk than alone in business class, but that's me ,an idiot who considers Tarntawan ultimate luxury.

me too and for exactly the same reason. When I arrive in Bkk regardless of time of day/night right after having shower I have obligatory stroll through Silom , Suriwong and Patpong. All look very different at dead of night, in the morning , during day and in the evening. With age I noticed I take discomfort of economy class better and better perhaps surprisingly but good for my pocket. Jet lags are what is killing me , particularly on return

slowly but surely those hi-tech gizmos are replacing joy of travelling with convenience of getting from A to B most sterile way possible. Not saying that is wrong , just not the same. One of advantages of hiring guide we did not mention is that simply we have somebody to talk to and share impressions right away, the same like going to bar with somebody we can share our views on boys, 'look at his bulge", 'what you say about #12?" etc

what about a little report ?

we agree to totally disagree.Peace

guy who sailed to India and landed in the Bahamas should not be authority in the navigation anyways. On serious note I think if somebody shows you way you will have trouble finding it again, if you navigate by yourself chances are you will not have problem finding it again

for benefits of readers who were never in Bangkok it needs to be said that all three systems , MRT / underground / , BTS / overhead rail / and ACL / airport- city train / ale very well posted in English and are easy to navigate with one possible confusion: TICKETS ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE, you need to buy separate ticket for each one at connecting stations /Makkasan, Phaya Thai, Silom /

on long flights condition on arrival may more depend on one's ability to sleep on the plane than class traveled. I generally don't sleep on the plane but on few occasions when I did I was surprised by the difference.

I understand. Saying negative things about Communist Dynasty is clear and spelled out, lock them. Prohibition of sitting at the front of bus by black person was clear and spelled out, is Rosa Parks still in jail?

you do, see post above

we discussed topic here while ago when he announced plans and was asking for a feedback. For me main reason to go to such places is to see how propaganda we are fed with is matching what is in the ground. Often things are different than our preconceived notion. I'm not trying to defend North Korea records but when read yesterday that 30 y.o mother of two was sentenced to 28 years in prison for 'lese majeste' one starts wondering if difference between countries is as big as we think. second post from the top: http://sawatdeenetwork.com/forum/protests-update-t30758-780.html

good point This can be substituted by visiting bars with anybody - other member of this forum for example or boy already offed from other bar or massage. If you have company mamasans are keeping out although boys on the stage may still suggest going threesome.

I'd also add knowledge of local prices to avoid possible scams or unreasonable taxi fares. Very presence of local fends off undesirables and also opens many doors otherwise closed. There are attractions which are available with guide only, either formally or because he knows who has a key.

one of our members is on his way there as we speak, hope we will see him and his report when he returns

quite opposite , I'm not loyal to any airline and when travel I'm looking for the best deal and for me it's ratio of price to flying time counted as time taken door to door.. I'm collecting miles on two programs but treat them as an additional perk and would pay no more than 10% or 100 $ , whatever is less, premium to take flight with miles as opposite to cheaper one without. Having still pretty high tolerance for travel indignities and generally having good time just being on the road , whatever it means, I found loyalty to be increasingly uneconomical. There were better times for loyal customers but long gone as far as I'm concerned. When I have points I rather use them for free short time flights rather than upgrades on long ranges.

only problem I have with local guides or even local residents accompanying me is that whether we like or not we are forced to see place through their eyes. They will be guiding us to places they are interested in or ones they think we will be interested in. Anybody asking me to show around of Bangkok is guaranteed to go to the Grand Palace by river , even if afraid of water and will be steered clear of big and impressive malls because I hate them, just as an example

Actually quite a few Bangkok places outside of Sukhumvit/Silom tourist ghetto are using soft /hard distinction in minimum tips. it's my understanding too but I never investigated further having my own tipping system well within asking rates. -
congratulations on reaching such ' silver' jubilee, . 25 years of oriental fun !

Welcome to the forum ! Don't be afraid , just buy a ticket and go. Thailand is one of easiest countries to travel with reasonable transport infrastructure, great value on hotels and plenty of other tourists around if you get lost. As in most countries , don't change too much money in the airport as rates are better in the city. Everything else will work out as long as you stay away from "good deals" on precious gems, most popular scam I guess. As for gay part this forum and other two have enough information and access to some fabulous traveling blogs to keep you informed.

and so do we !

whatever triggered that rise, I liked it and boy liked his tip , we both won.

and for creating such a nice illusion they deserve being compensated accordingly. We know they are not in love with us but they still may like us and that's our achievement.
-
It's why they call it minimum tip, not just tip. I agree with you only caution being to make sure that one is overtiping on his initiative , not because boy senses you are soft spot and is trying to extract more.
