But what I didn't like was that I had to pay 1300 upfront at the desk right at the start. 700 for the shop and 600 for minimum tip. Paying everything upfront minimizes the incentive for the masseur and also opens up for potential disappointments in regarding to what service the 600 tip should contain.

Powerboys is as closed and empty as it's been since 2018. Your friend either saw the laundrystation where old Foresthouse bar used to be, or maybe the arabic restaurant Magic moon around the corner that has been open a year or so.

Only 3 customers for the short and not impressing show, maybe 5 boys who all quickly ran out of the bar and disappeared when the show ended. Drinks 350 baht I think it was. No. I looked on Line and their prices were around 1100 baht for 60 minutes massage, and a mandatory minimum tip to the masseur of 500 baht. I don't like when the prices are high and fixed like that. That gives the boy no incentive to do a good job and it's not clear if any extras are included or not, which may cause confusion and probable demands of more money.

Sunee plaza is almost a ghosttown now. I believe the only reason why the odd tourist now and then go there is because they remember how great Sunee plaza was in the past and hoping it will be somewhat of that still. But they quickly discovers, as Orson reported, that the little fragments that is left of Sunee is not the same as in the past. Just go to Jomtien complex instead like everyone else do nowadays.

So sitting with a bored boy who chuk wows for a couple of minutes will cost you a total of 1000 baht. I rather take a boy from any app to my room and have sex for an hour or more for the same amount.

The hotels are so cheap in lowseason. Just pick any of those in the complex like The Venue or Zing. It wont cost you much more, it will be more safe and so convenient. And you eliminate the risk of being scammed on the airbnb and dont have to report your location to immigration yourself since the hotel will take care of it for you.

I saw Chet on a motorbike in Jomtien perhaps two months ago or so. He just passed by so I didn't have time to stop him and say hello. I have never seen him in the bars in Jomtien complex so I don't think he works there.

Very odd location for a male massage place indeed. Far away in east Pattaya, the dark side as it's called. Far away from the tourist areas and the nightlife. But maybe that's their business model - to be in a location where there are only expats and where they are the only male massage around?

The most raunchy place in Pattaya that still is open is definitely X-boys. Not much "raunchiness" going on in other boybars nowadays.

I'm gonna challenge you on that because I think BBB has not had nudity for many many years. They changed everything 2017 and removed naughtiness and nudity to more suit the female chinese market. I also think BBB can no longer be called a gogo bar, since no gogo is going on in there. It's a chinese show-bar with boys so overdressed that they even wear long sleeve shirts so the skin on their arms not shown... If BBB is called a "gogo bar" then Castro and M2M etc surely must be called the same. For me BBB lost attraction in 2017.
