If I had to live in Bangkok I would do exactly the same as you Wheelz. Lucky enough I stay in Pattaya where I can enjoy the bars which I prefer to still reasonable prices. With the exception of BBB which I don't visit anymore. On the few occasions I use apps I've found that Hornet is the best to my taste in Pattaya.

You should try here in south Pattaya with the hordes of arabic thugs. Horrible.

Are you sure it really is a success and that rents are cheap? I heard from one staff in one of the bars some months ago they have a rent at 50 000/month and were struggeling to be profitable. I actually would doubt many of the bars there are economic success.

Eros was really back with a bang tonight. Must have been about 15 boys on duty. The new white underwear on the boys look very good.

Yes that is obvious now that they've closed yet again and they claim on their facebook page that it's because the staff is sick. Very sad indeed. I hope they manage to solve whatever the problem is. Sunee will not be the same without Eros bar.

Eros and Ting tong red still closed tonight at 21 when I walked through Sunee. And also another bar had closed, The elephant hotel bar.

Eros closed early tonight. All other bars seemed to be operating as normal with the exeption of some boys that decided to leave when the news about the raid was heard.

Police raid in Sunee right now. Some boys were quick to dress and flee the plaza. Police car with flashing lights outside Ting tong beer bar.

Last night the boys were all in white underwear. Looked very nice. I think they had given the boys more discipline rules too since most of the boys were on the small dancing tables, and not running in and out all the time as usual. So now there were more to relax your eyes at than just the boy sitting with you. Good improvements imho. However they hade also more strong lights since when I visited last time which was kind of weird. Eros is the type of bar where one would appreciate more dim lights and not want to clearly see the farangs in the sofas across the other side of the bar and their doings.

My experience with boys from communist Laos is that they are very sweet and more humble than many other asians. No similarity with russians at all.

With those prices most farangs can just get what they are looking for cheaper and more convenient closer to home than travel to Bangkok and Soi Twilight. Oh wait, that's just what most non-chinese do theese days.

Not at all. 1000 is still the going rate in most bars in Pattaya and even if the boy initially asks for more they most often accept 1000. I've never had anyone of the boys on stage in Toy boys refusing 1000 too. The exception are the straight hunks shirtless and in jeans outside Toy boys, they seem to insist on 1500 yes and I dont think they have problems finding willing customers for that price.

Nice boys bar was really rocking the last two nights when I was there. Full of happy boys earning tips from happy customers and very much party spirit. I counted 20 boys tonight at about 23:30. Most of them handsome imho even if I too am not a big fan of tattos.

That is most often the case in Eros that theese special parties announced on facebook never happens, from what I've seen and I visit regularly. Love the bar but it is hit and miss depending on the night and which of the boys show up for work since they all seem to be freelancers.

I agree. Winnerboys seem to keep pulling in the crowds and business probably excellent for both bar and the boys who work there. If you visit around midnight the majority of the boys usually have been offed. I suspect some of them even twice. Some of my humble conclusions is that Winnerboys concept proves that in Pattaya boy gogobars - There is no need for fat pushy ladyboy mamasan. Waiters, boys and customers can take care of the deals themselves. - At least in Sunee there is no need for drink prices around 200 baht each. Even with more low prices the bar can be profitable because of more plenty of happy customers buying more drinks for themselves and the boys, and more offs. - There is no need to allow smoking inside a gogo bar. The customers who insist on not visiting a non-smoking bar are few. - A farang owner who is on site night after night to make sure business is going well, will be sucessful.

I saw two former Eros boys now working in Winner boys agogo.

One boy in the bar told me a couple of days ago it will be closed for 7 days. I did not understand his explanation why but think it had something to do with the bars license.

From what I've seen the last couple of weeks the boys have individual underwear every night now. So no more towels blocking the view. The owner seem to listen to what customers want and adjust accordingly and that is also a succesful concept. The bar was full of boys and customers yesterday at about 22 while some other bars in Sunee were more quiet.

Unfortunately a lot of mooks among many of the boys in the current line-up. One has as many as 3!
