The most raunchy place in Pattaya that still is open is definitely X-boys. Not much "raunchiness" going on in other boybars nowadays.

No. I looked on Line and their prices were around 1100 baht for 60 minutes massage, and a mandatory minimum tip to the masseur of 500 baht. I don't like when the prices are high and fixed like that. That gives the boy no incentive to do a good job and it's not clear if any extras are included or not, which may cause confusion and probable demands of more money.

I was in Sunee about a week ago and it was a depressing sight, a figment of its once bustling delights. Ditto, by the way, for the legendary Boystown (yes, with an "S") which was also mostly dark, deserted and haunted. Visit these two former erogenous zones only if you are interested in ancient history. 

they are long gone so don't bother. I rarely visit Sunee now so can't say anything current. For now raunchiest place seems to be XBoys in Boyztown  , at least as far as show is concerned

Also, don't forget government  clampdowns, and activity of  BIB. Tea money usually an isdue. 

Paying 200 for looking at a few fully clothed boys is not my thing. I dont go to that bar anymore and neither to similar clothed and overpriced BoyzBoyzBoyz. And the bars name is not Nice boys anymore btw.
Last time I was there a long time ago they had started asking 500 for "flying a kite", just as orson reports. Up from 300. And boydrink 300.
So sitting with a bored boy who chuk wows for a couple of minutes will cost you a total of 1000 baht. I rather take a boy from any app to my room and have sex for an hour or more for the same amount.
 

You were lucky. That's twice as many boys from when I had a look in the bar last time!

I was in A-bomb a few months ago and my experience was the same. Only 3 customers for the short and not impressing show, maybe 5 boys who all quickly ran out of the bar and disappeared when the show ended. Drinks 350 baht I think it was. I am not in a hurry to return.

Most tourists don’t have any plans to off any boys. They just want to experience the shows - thus the reason why most successful bars in the area have multiple shows per night. Unfortunately a-bomb has only a single show, and quite a short one at that

1    Why go to Boyztown, when the selection of boys in Jomtien is better ?
2   Once we're in Jomtien, most of the boys I speak to are paid commission on drinks sold.  There's no appearance money or requirement to be at the bar.   Now not every bar is the same, but that's how most are.   Now if the boys aren't paid for being at the bar & can come & go as they please, why pay an off fee ?
 

Or just nothing. While  see reason  of flying through half globe when so called scene is there, I  can't see logic of expense of time or money to go there in order to comb apps and websites, task I can do easily I comfort of home. 
Appointed massage for me sounds and feels like apointment with dentist or colonoscopist so no, thank you but thank you. 
I agree that off fees in excess of 500 are just racket and certainly I don't fee guilty to cheat bar of that income and deal with their guys directly. 

Those off-fees are ridiculous. I'd rather my money go to the working boys not to the mafia and BIBs. I walked by BT two evenings ago and BT Soi 3 (BBB's soi) was dark, the big sign at the entrance to the soi was off, and I could see very little if any activity. There is NO reason I would step foot in that soi (sorry Vinapu, chacun á son goût!) but this is the past of Pattaya certainly not its future. It's future will be appointed massages, the apps and, as always, sweet unexpected chance meeting serendipity.

Getting up to Western prices ! 

When I asked staff on Wed16jul2025, an off fee of 800 was quoted, short time 1500-2000, long time 3000. I don't comment on that.
I should have a second wallet with a few 20 notes and pull it out and count and reply "too bad, I don't have that much money with me".

Sunee plaza is almost a ghosttown now. I believe the only reason why the odd tourist now and then go there is because they remember how great Sunee plaza was in the past and hoping it will be somewhat of that still. But they quickly discovers, as Orson reported, that the little fragments that is left of Sunee is not the same as in the past.
Just go to Jomtien complex instead like everyone else do nowadays.
