I think the off fee's and 2000 baht for the boy is getting out of hand..too much in my eyes...for the visitor..ok,,have money in the budget..but for residents...this is getting expensive for them to enjoy as much as they would like to..

I agree with Travellerdave and Londoner,I discovered Thailand first time in 1998 shortly after the collapse of the Baht and Thai economy I don't want to look like a grumpy old man but yes unfortunately it's true back then much more attractive boys eager to please you,much more gay bars with plenty of clients and everything was ridiculously cheap.Thailand still has its charm but some of the magic was lost once Thailand economy is improving constantly and the Thai people became more western.Nevertheless I still love Thailand and there is no other country in the world with such charming , polite and kind as the
Thai people.

I live in Seoul..Korean Men are not shy at all...they do not care who is looking at them in the shower/dressing room. IF you think he knows your gay, well maybe he was giving you the chance to try something with him..maybe you should have said something.  Also, if he has a great body,,they love to show it off....In Japan, in a bath house/sauna, shower room, I noticed they tend to "cover" up private parts with small wash cloth all the time in shower room..(at least the several times I was in one they did)..

For me,,I used to like the bars on Soi Twilight, and the shows...no more..I cannot enjoy when Chinese women and their husbands are in the audience..laughing and such...I prefer it like it was years ago....more enjoyable,,at least for me..
