Or can it find its way into the blood stream and not be inhibited by saliva? I don’t know. The only good news about hep c, is that Merk created a drug with a very high cure rate relatively recently. And hopefully you no longer had any blood episodes after and you healed ok. I know it’s hard to catch std through the mouth, although I caught Syphilis that way. I am worried about hep c, as it’s very hardy vrus unlike hiv.

There was a very small amount of blood in my mouth, which I didn’t notice until looking in the mirror.
