I say the same thing every time posts similar to this one shows up. It's foolish to seek medical advice, any medical advice, on a message board. If you want to know if it's safe to repeatedly use Kamagra, get your answer from a doctor, not from a message board. Even if someone posts that he uses it after only 9 or 10 hours without ill effects and even if he says his own doctor told him it's safe to use, that's fine for him, but it's not necessarily fine for you. And especially when it comes to that area of your body, you might have to pay for a doctor's advice, but don't you think it's worth it rather than taking any risks? I'd feel a lot more comfortable about using it if my doctor tells me it's safe than I would if an anonymous poster on a message board tells me it's safe. Conversely, I would still want to know what my doctor says if someone posts that it's unsafe.

I agree. The bars can set their own off fees, but trying to set tip amounts? To me, that's a no no. That works in massage shops, but if a bar starts trying to set inflated tip amounts, not going to happen. I'd be right out the door. The recommended tip amounts are coming from a combination of what the customers see as fair and what the boys see as reasonable for what they do. There really is no way to accurately answer that question. There is no predictable pattern to it. If they come, the Thai boys usually start showing up around 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Some days there are several and some days few to none. The same is true for farang - some days several and some days few. In other words, you'll have to go and see. Some days you'll be lucky and some days you won't.

I agree with firecat69's response. I see no problem about giving a boy 800 baht if that's what he asks for. No objection. That's the boy's choice, but that's not the problem. The problem is when the customer tries to get the boy to agree to a lower price. I always give the boy his taxi fare in additon to the tip. Since I live on "The Dark Side," depending on where the boy is coming from the taxi fare usually ranges between 100 to 160 baht, each way. Probably for most of you, his taxi fare will be less than 50 baht, each way if he's coming to you as an outcall. Once in awhile a boy has his own, or a friend's motorbike and (rarely) the boy even has his own car. Don't forget, not every boy is a money boy, but if a boy is working in a bar, it's a sure bet he is. I've met my share of boys who refuse to take any money at all, but that's never happened with a bar boy. One other thing that's never happened, and ain't no way, no how, it ever will - a boy offering to pay me . . .

I'm with firecat69 on this. Most people who argue that an agreed price of under 1000 baht is what ought to be paid are the same people who spend a lot of money on airfare alone just getting here, stay in relatively expensive hotels, eat in good restaurants, have plenty of drinks, andtreat themselves very nicely. Meanwhile, when it comes to the boys, far too many farang try to get them to agree to as low a price as possible. The boys are the main reason many come here in the first place, aren't they? My opinion - short time 1000 baht minimum. Long time, including overnight, 1500 to 2000 baht minimum. I think everyone here is well aware that this is how the boys make their living. Why on earth anyone would be out to deprive them, just to save themselves a couple hundred baht, goes beyond me - far beyond me. If you really have to save money, just as if a few thousand baht more in tips would ruin your holiday, then cut back on drinks, eat less expensive meals, but don't be a cheapskate with the boys.

If you're going to try to medicate him into an erection, which in my opinion is a wrong thing to do, then the least you could do is take him to a qualified doctor and have him examined to rule out a physical problem. If nothing physical prevents him from getting an erection, ask the doctor what, if anything, can be done and would be the appropriate course of treatment for him, if he wants any treatment. But don't start taking it upon yourself to start prescibing for him.

Vinapu is right. A board owner can set the time limit for editing and/or deleting one's own post. On this board I think it's about one hour. After that, the icons for editing and deleting will disappear.

I agree. Unless it's a blatantly obvious troll post, assuming someone is a troll after just one post is a little too quick on the draw for me. When I made my first trip to Thailand I had more questions than Carter's has liver pills. Besides, sometimes even troll posts raise questions and issues of general interest. Everybody here made a first trip to Thailand. Most knew little or nothing on their first trip and sometimes to me it looks as if a few who have made multiple trips still know little or nothing.

Also, if you wish to go to and from by motorbike taxi, you won't have any problem getting there. Going from Sansuk could be a different matter. It might not be so easy to find one unless you trek back up to Thappraya Road. The solution to that is to carry a mobile phone with you. The taxi driver who takes you to Sansuk will be delighted to return and pick you up, and then take you wherever you want to go from there. All you have to do is get his phone number and let him know to expect your call. Of course, you can do the same thing any time you have a motorbike taxi take you to a location where taxis for your return trip are not readily available. Believe me, the driver will be happy to return to take you. Notice that motorbike taxi drivers spend most of their time just sitting around, hoping for a fare. That's why you won't have any trouble getting the driver to come to pick you up, wherever you are.

While I can understand why they do that, the sauna is the wrong place for them to be trying to get people to give them money. They're not supposed to do that and as a customer you're supposed to report it to the management. The last thing the sauna wants is for boys to be trying to get money out of sauna customers.

Well, yes and no. As far as I can tell, the boys still wear whatever they want. Only a few wear thongs and the ones I saw wearing them were quite fem. No one on my board asked about whether there are moderators. That question about moderators was asked on this board. Does the fact that I have a board disqualify me, as a board member here, to ask if this board has moderators? Have I committed some sort of crime by asking whether this board uses moderators anymore? Why are you making a federal case out of a perfectly innocent question? I don't even care whether this board has moderators or not. I'm just curious. What's your problem about that? The answer to my question is a simple yes or no, and quite frankly I don't really care whether that question gets an answer or not.

I didn't know I was opening a can of worms. I guess the way I should have asked was, aside from Scooby, does this board still have moderators? There used to be several. Now I'm curious if this board still uses moderators. I don't give a shit who they are either. Anonymous screen names don't mean anything to me. But when a topic appears titled 'Where are the moderators.' I don't see anything inappropriate about asking if there even are moderators anymore at all. If anyone really wants to get angry with me for that, be my guest. As for who they are, I don't suppose anyone noticed that at the bottom of the main forum page there is a link to "The Moderating Team" and that lists the screen names of the moderators. Anybody who wants to can see it. I was merely wondering whether anyone other than Scooby is actually moderating this board. As z909 posted, the last time any of the listed moderators, other than Scooby, even read this board was September of 2013. Meanwhile, the question as to whether this board still has moderators is a question for Scooby, no one else, to address - unless, of course, you happen to be a moderator on this board.

I think the wrong question is being asked. Instead of "Where are the moderators?", my question would be "Who are the moderators?" I know there used to be moderators, but currently the only moderator I know about is Scooby himself. Are there others?

I'm surprised to see you actually being supportive of those remarks. I'm still waiting to see a reason why those remarks were posted in the first place. I see no excuse for it.

What's with the insulting remarks? Until this post, I thought you were a decent guy. Apparently I thought wrong. I'm a pensioner. Am I supposed to be ashamed of that? How do you think I got it? I earned it - from many years of hard work and long hours. In my life nobody gave me a damned thing. I worked for what I have and so did most of the rest of us living here. Your 5 weeks of holidays is a lot more than many living here ever got. People responding to your message on this topic did so to try to help you and this is how you respond? I'll leave it at that and resist the urge to say the rest of what ought to be said to you - I don't want my post to end up deleted.

If he has no steady, high paying job and is not enrolled in a university, then as far as I can tell there is only one way to show the required papers - you would have to fabricate them somehow and lie about it. That is not what I would call a good idea. Doing that would mean you would have to commit a crime - fraud, perhaps forgery as well. You would also be placing him at risk of facing criminal charges. I don't know what the penalties would be if you get caught, but whatever they are, I wouldn't want to face them or have to explain my actions to a judge. Do you really think taking that kind of risk for the sake of a holiday is worth it? Do you think immigration officials, people who deal with visa applicants all day, every day, are stupid? Best tip I can think of to give you - forget it, at least until your friend is able to obtain a visa honestly and legitimately. If you want a holiday with the boy, take him to holiday destinations within Thailand. Maybe both he and you would be disappointed in being unable to have a holiday together in Europe, but a good holiday in Thailand would beat hell out of a potential holiday in Klong Prem. Dinner time at Klong Prem
