Yes it was me. One of the boys working there I’ve know for over 10 yrs txt’d me saying the bar had been shut last Monday by the police. We both felt it was probably some issue over paying bribe or new police chief…

Some update for what it’s worth….one Tawan guy I’ve known for over 10 yrs told me yesterday he still goes to Soi Tawan and ‘waits for clients’ between working as Grab driver.  Another is moving out of bkk to become an air conditioning technician but said ‘ตวันมีข่าวว่าจะเปิดสิ้นเดือนหน้า’which I think means ‘Some Tawan news: they plan to open at the end of next month’.
Maybe…..maybe not. Hard to read between the lines when I’m not in Thailand.

Maybe not your deep professional voice but the words you were using.  There is no point in using big complicated words however deep your voice is.
Do you poke them with your silver tipped cane if they refuse to understand you?

I’ve just chatted to one of my Tawan Boy friends I’ve known for over 12 yrs. He dropped into Soi Tawan last night, partly for ‘old times sake’ and meet up with a few of the other guys and have a drink. He is scraping by working as Grab driver. 
I asked if he thought it would re-open and his response was ‘ยังไม่มีกำหนดเปิดครับ‘ [there is no opening date yet]and ‘รอต่อไปครับ’ [keep waiting]

Yes I was there last night. There was a photographer there clicking away, mainly at the ladyboy songstresses but also the Tawan boys during the show.
I didn’t really expect much from the show as the bar has only been re-opened for a few weeks and the stage is so small, but quite a good show considering.
- three bodybuilders doing muscle-posing with dicks poking out of shorts
- big did show. Because venue is so intimate and customer No’s were down, the guys moved through the audience encouraging a grope.
- one Tawan guy literally fucked a watermelon. 🍉 🍆 😳
- chuckwow (2 guys; only bigger, muscled guy came)
- Mr Ten and Mr X wearing g-strings and balaclavas. Mr X sucked Mr Ten; Mr Ten soon lost his g-string and started dry-humping Mr X and then buried his face deep into Mr X’s ass (so much so that the other Tawan guys in the audience laughed in admiration. Apparently  Mr Ten had gone above and beyond tonight).

Yes, I thought that too... It was during a conversation with Pan, the manager; I asked him about condoms on for 'big dick show' and he tried to explain but his English wasn't up to the accurate description of the vagaries of Thai authorities and gogo clubs. He sort of said sometimes they (the club) has to cut sex show or make the boys wear shorts for a few weeks if there is a 'crackdown', and somehow wearing condoms meant that the boys weren't COMPLETELY naked if the police suddenly burst in. 
This didn't make complete logic to me (they still have chuck-wow shows etc) but I thought trying to make logic of Thai govenance of sex industry, particularly as a Western observer...I should just let it slide.
