Thanks for the many replies to my question about a Companion. I guess I am more inline with Boy69. And not inclined to search for a guy from a Go go Bar. HOWEVER, my first trip to Bangkok I meet a wonderful guy/man at the old Tomahawk bar, across from Tawan. We hit it off and I enjoyed meeting him on each trip for years after. Very sorry to hear about your problem at the ATM. The same thing happened to me in Barcelona. Even though I had notified my Bank I would be traveling there. Even worst the same Credit Card was refused at the hotel... GRRRR Tired to call the number for my US Bank. But again the call would not go through. I later found out you must ASK for an International Operator to handle the Collect Call... So nothing to do but use a different Credit Card. Never got a satisfactory response from my first Bank as to why they denied my card, so I cancelled their Card. F**K THEM As you said not a good experience... Take care...

Very useful discussion. At 76 yo I do need some help... For years I have bought the Cialis 5mg, once a day, tablets when I traveled to Asia. But in the US the price for 30 tablets has gone from USD100 to USD200. Last trip to the Philippines I bought 30 tablets for USD150, still USD5 per tablet. SO I would be interested in what is available in Thailand, since I will be there next November. Might try Sidegra, but Viagra did not work as well as Cialis.

I have a question? I never carry my US Passport. Got it stolen long time ago in France and cost me 2 days of a business trip to get it replaced. In Thailand I usually bring a photocopy. What about having a Image on your Phone. Would the BIB be OK with that?? Thanks
