So let me ask about my confusion... If a person has in fact been infected with COVID-19, but has "recovered". Would they still test Positive? They should have the antibodies that are thought to"protect" them from getting the Virus again. But they would still be denied boarding or required to Quarantine upon arrival? And what about people who have been Vaccinated. Will they test Positive? Where does that leave them. Not easy to know going forward.

I feel the bigger question is whether the Covid Tests are at all accurate. How can you test negative and one-day later test positive?? The Saliva Test is especially suspect. But it is now being used at many Colleges and Schools in the USA.

Yes, all the Money Transfer Services make a profit on the Exchange Rate. I have given up on trying to compare them... Sending to the Philippines I use MoneyGram and WorldRemit. Usually I transfer from my Debit Card and then Cash is "instantly" available to my guy at one of the Pawn Shops. The fee is USD4-5. Only MoneyGram will make transfers to GCASH, that is the Mobile E-Wallet. The fee is USD1. But my guy must have a GCASH account. There are no fees charged to the Receiver. I do not use Western Union or PayPal or their ZOOM Transfer Service...

We all need to realize that we white men are so much better off than our Thai or PH guys. Many of my friends in the PH have no work now and still Family and other expenses to shoulder. I have tried to send some money to my several friends in the PH. I have been using a Mobile Wallet, GCASH. Works well for them to have money for food, utilities, or mobile load. Not sure what is the same there in Thailand.

At least President Duterte is responding to the new spike in infections. Not like our Pres Trump who still has he head in the sand, or someplace else. When I returned from the Philippines to the US in early March I thought the Virus would not be a significant problem in the US or the PH. And I could plan a trip in October. Little did I know!! And at this point I have stopped guessing. I am 79yo and have a lung problem so my main focus now is not getting sick!!! Life goes on!!!

The higher level of restrictions has also been applied in Cebu City. Five Barangays are under total lock-down. People cannot even go out to buy food. The Local Government is supposed to bring in food for those in the areas. VERY DIFFICULT!!!

With the large number of new Covid infections in the USA, our neighbor State of Arizona is sending patients to hospitals in New Mexico. They are being transported by Ambulance. I do not know how far they must travel. Not a Airline Flight or Helicopter. But cases are also rising here in New Mexico. My Partner and I are at home and dutifully wearing a face mask outside and in stores. GOD WILL IT PLEASE END!!
