Exactly all is needed is proof of vaccination and prc test prior the flight all other unnecessary bureaucratic procedures turn away potential tourists (like me) to visit Thailand .

As you said Thailand is so "in your face" with the go go bars full of naked boys/girls , explicit fuck shows and foreign "daddies" and their much younger local guys/ girls escorts much more than other countries this is why Thailand earned its reputation as sex destination. many might see it in a bad light but not me this is what I liked about Thailand the liberal attitude about sex and the tolerance and acceptance of gays , Unfortunately @macaroni21 is right Thailand is changing more and more to Family friendly destination because the conservative Thai elite feeling uncomfortable with the sex destination image of their country and are determined to change it especially with the long closure of the entertainment venues many will go bankrupt and Thai elite won't shed a tear about it , I am afraid the post COVID-19 era Thailand won't be the same anymore and we will left with good memories of the old Thailand which gone forever .Sad.

Of course it's up to you to do whatever you want but I think it's too soon to know what to do .first ,the Thai Government policy is blurry and unpredictable. second ,even if the country will be full reopen many entertainment and tourism venues went bankrupt and it will take long time to recover before Thailand will become what it was if at all . I personally prefer to hold on any decisions till further notice .

What do the Thai government expect to bring tourists to Thailand and ask them to watch TV at the hotel since all Entertainment venues are closed ? If the Thai government won't make clear decision of full opening for vaccinated tourists the upcoming high season will be very sad .

Yes and the Thai Government should do it otherwise they can forget about tourists comming back in the near future.

Even if entertainment venues allowed to open many of them went bankrupt and I don't know how many will reopen their gates in December , Unfortunately it will take long time to recover . In my opinion December is too soon to make a booking and it's better to wait and see what the future is holding for the land of smiles.

It's too complicated for me this year I will switch to Colombia ,No unnecessary complications for tourists ,plenty of attractive boys and same living costs as Thailand. Sorry but the land of smiles is not smiling to Int'l travelers anymore.

Yes you are right in my twenty years experience in Thailand ( never been in Colombia but planning a trip there when the Covid 19 madness will calm down) hunks and muscular twinks are much popular ,have more demand in the market and their services are more expensive but my taste is different I prefer the boyish slim younger look and they must be smooth and hairless and I don't care if they top or bottom. I already found 3 gorgeous boys that are willing to do long trip in Colombia and are very exited to visit different cities in the country I think it's a good idea to have someone local for first time trip to a new country I hope I am not wrong because sometimes long term may cause negative issues if there is no good chemistry with the boy.
