  1. Yes, they both quote midnight closing BUT they don't say if that is at starting station or final station, so many stations close after midnight. Confusing.
  2. There is a new HUGE Foodland in the basement of the complex opposite Soi 4 (ex Boots). Actually, in soi 4 ( I don't know about boy bars in Patpong) Friday is the busiest night and Tuesday the quietist.
  3. Damn, I missed all that. I do shopping mainly Lazada these days.
  4. 7-11? What promotional items might they have?
  5. And did the farang speak ever more loudly, poking the assistant with his silver topped cane to encourage the staff to pronounce it correctly(🤣😜)?
  6. There is always a risk of shop assistants not understanding your pronunciation. Find an image of a pack on google and show that on your phone. This applies to much shopping, not only pharmacies .
  7. At TAT they certainly are. They must have a 'random number generator.
  8. I always thought here in Thailand lets of less than 31 days are illegal unless the property has an hotel license. BUT then, I always thought that prostitution was illegal here🤣
  9. There are souls!🤣
  10. Like all other bars. Strict Buddha holiday.
  11. Once again, I suggest looking at today's YouTube TNT from Tim Newton. Again he cites current examples of arrivals -- confusing matters even further.
  12. And what was the name of the owner/manager/mamasan who used to work opposite Tawan. I think the bar had a red Indian sort of name. Solid had a self claimed partner who used to visit the bar and gather all the boys around him monopolising them. Also another revolting belt and braces customer who the boys would dread being selected by.
  13. RAM Bar. Best cabaret show in Thailand, in my opinion. Not far from the Night Bazaar.
  14. How unlike Thailand to confuse things. Talk about left hand and right hand. I think it's so that ministers can say "Farang's fault -- they understand wrong"
  15. Look at Tim's vlog ------ he thinks it is unclear.
  16. I missed the ALL IMPORTANT sentence----- The list of countries and territories was published in the Royal Gazette on Monday night, with immediate effect.
  17. Today --- 16th July Visitors from 93 countries and territories can now enter Thailand without a valid visa under a new policy effective from Monday this week. Implementation came after the signing of the directives by Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin. Also check Tim Newton TMT on Youtube to see if any of his correspondents have arrived this morning.
  18. Check daily on TNT (Tim Newton) on YouTube. His daily Thailand news reports contain comments from people currently arriving.
  19. How about renaming this topic now? Misleading.
  20. Often said to be to discourage children BUT actually to stop parliamentarians from getting sozzled then going back to work in the afternoon!
  21. AYAM beans half the price of Heinz and have English and veggie varieties.
  22. Strange, I saw nothing in the press or TV. Usually lots of photos and videos, even on BBC and CNN.
