I have decided to try wring everyday then what i usually do and write just a couple of times about a trip and forget 1/2 the participants! (notice i said try!) this was written Friday morning i arrived today after a long flight from SNA to IAH to GRU to GIG! i think i am getting to old for this long ardourous flights it is much better to do a overnight in Miami if you are flying from the west coast! I got to the apartment in Ipanema then the ATM and was back by 3:00pm to welcome my first visitor! he is a very handsome bodybuilder that i have known for 9 years. He is planning on coming over every afternoon when he gets off of work He left about 5:30 and i headed over to Pointe202 sauna not expecting much since thursday is a weak night for all the saunas...and i was 1/2 right! i was the only client and there were 12 guys working! i thrive in that kind of environment! But the surprising thing was quality of the guys!!6 out of the 12 were good looking by almost anyones standards and 3,of the remaining ones like were very decent looking(s as bu as we would say “you wouldn’t kick them out of bed) usually the slow nights have guys that find it difficult with the better looking or better body types letting them have the slow nights! i ordered a drink and within 2 minutes had 5 guys around me with the rest of the guys sitting within or standing 10’ away! I met a really personable 22yr olld there was one guy in particular who had a amazing personality, great body, big dick so he said i am active so i said let’s find a passive! i saw a muscular guy i had been with about a year ago but he was also a top but he came up to me and said “i will be passive for you” so the three of us went up to a room, and had a great time! I had to get back to the apartment by 9:00 because i had a overnight guest coming then to go to dinner and then spend the night. He was right on time! We went to Rayz for dinner on Farme de Amoedo, which used to be the center of gay nightlife but now 7 of the 10 restaurants in that block are permanently closed and shades of NYC and Weho buildings are being torn down to make way for condos! next ...Friday

Bucknaway, Thanks! Sorry i can’t help you there! We all have different types, and he isn’t someone i would be interested in, plus he is a Top! but that’s why there are so many different types at the saunas, we all like different guys!

i am going to Rio and São Paulo from December 2nd to the 13th, the first 7 days in Rio and the last 4 in São Paulo. I am going to visit the saunas but i already have guys staying with me in both locations for the days i am there, but wil definitely check out any new talent in Rio! In SP i am staying with the 2 guys(couple)that i met on my last trip there 5 weeks ago and really like them! i ran into 2 guys who i originally met in 2005 this last trip and they both stayed in really good shape, and looked good so i spent a evening with eack of them separately and it was really enjoyable! the photo below is a guy i orinally met in late 2012, we met up several times during my last visit, and he is imho hotter now at 29 then he was at 20! Great guy and is a little on the shy side(but not in bed!)

Like Lagoa it is In a néw building, 4 levels with a bar/stage on the lower level which has a pool and is open to the outside! I was there there. opening night, it was packed and there were no room rentals that night, just a open house! the rooms appeared nice and of course the whole place is brand new! i liked the bar area better then Lagoa, although both are new, i can’t comment on the quality of the guys working there as none were working opening night! i didn’t go back the next two nights as i had commitments at lagoa.

i haven’t been there this year but have been in contact consistently with 3 of the guys i saw regularly down there, and things seem to be the same as far as guys getting together just not at the bars but in the homes/apts. these guys are all grindr hookups i met previously! i will be back there in Jan. and March

I don’t arrive until the morning of the 3rd and i am flying thru SP on my way to Rio, i don’t arrive in SP until thursday the 10th of Dec.

I am going back to Rio and SP December 2nd for 12 days! i met a couple i really like a lot and also met 2 new guys in Rio i also had a amazing time with! plus there were a number of guys i had met in the past that also were a lot of fun. i only did a few guys at the saunas because i met most either at my apt. or left the sauna with them to go to the apt for a overnight!. overall i did not notice a big difference pre covid and now in availability or type of guys(but i did do a majority of the guys who do not work at the saunas anymore but are more then willing to come to your place to meet up)

LatBear4blk The beach is 25 minute Uber ride away and nothing much to do there during the week. Probresso is a small tpwn, I think you will much prefer centro Merida. , litterally over a 100*dining places within walking distance and 4 gay bars([re covid) I buoght my house in Centro in Merida alkost 4 years ago and am very happy with it(although i haven/t seen it in 10 mpnths)

yes he is as previously stated when he is on his visits to NYC the old Lagoa was actually 3 houses cobbled together and owned by 3 brothers for the last 20+ years and the entire block was bought up piecemeal by a develoment company, Rudolfo the current owner knew he was going to have to vacate for at least the 2 years preceding the move. I personally believe that have a Lagoa exist is alot better even if it is not as grand as the old place then not aving one at all ! just ask the NYC crowd what it is like now compared to the pre Guilliani era when you had the Gaiety, stellas, Cats, etc, or Miami of the 90's. i am happy brazil still has suanas if they can survive

i will be in São Paulo from October 7th to the 10th, then Rio from Oct. 10th to 16th then back to SP the 16th to the 19th! the 3 day weekend in SP there will be 5 of us staying at the house, the first weekend several friends from Porto Alegre are meeting me there as it was difficult to get flights into and out of POA with out long waits due tomorrow the reduction in flights to and from there.

Disclaimer! Up until now i have never went with a guy from a online ad! because the saunas provided up close a personal looks of them, and usually they could be found in the saunas!.... But recently i received messages from 2 guys who i have never seen in the saunas but have had a continuing presence online on Netgay and vivalocal etc. obviously business is hurting and they (like us) talk about clients and when i told 6 or 8 guys I was coming to brazil in October they contacted me. when i asked where they got my name they were discrete just saying “one of their friends had it!” lol they are quoting rates of $250.R to come to the apt. but quickly said $$200.R if i had them over more then once!

First to put things in perspective, i feel safer in Gloria/Copa/Ipanema then i do in large areas of LA or Chicago or my hometown of Mpls! That doesn’t mean anything if you are foolish or in the wrong place at the wrong time, no matter what world city you are in! i have been going to Rio for 20 years usually 4 times a year and have far fewer issues then my 4 trips to Prague! A few things i never do in Rio or Brazil(since i also frequently go to São paulo and Porto Alegre) 1)walk along the beachside of the street in Copacabana after the sun goes down! many “snatch and grabs” happen there! 2) wear no jewelry or watches!! One older American was mugged for his watch and he told me “it was only a Timex!” i told him “Timex or Rolex, all they know is you have a watch on your wrist and it’s worth something!” 3)if you have to give a second thought to doing something ...DON’T! go with your gut! i always have sleepovers every night i am in Brazil, for 2 reasons the first and most important is I Like It, and secondly it is much safer walking back to your hotel or Apt. with 3 or 4 guys late at night! con’t..

i made my reservations to go to Rio and SP on October 7th for 2 weeks. i was going to go to Porto Alegre also but the limited plane service from SP made that difficult so i passed. My apt i have stayed at the past 10 years in Ipanema was remodeled from a 2bdr/2 bath to a 3 bed/3 bath which will make it more fun! I talk or text regularly with about 10 of them and they all say the situation is still as bad economically as it has been the past 6 months, i have also gotten messages from guys i haven’t heard or seen in years looking for work or asking about moving to mexico! these guys are going back to escorting after losing jobs as a soccer coach for a school, losing restaurant jobs, Uber drivers etc. unfortunately they are in their mid 30’s to mid 40’s with non worked out bodies(with the exception of 2 of them that look better then they did in 2004 when i met them)! Several have moved back in with their parents with their wives and kids! today’s exchange rate is $5.30R to $1.00 US

i have been going to Brazil 20 years now and only use my mastercard! i use it at all the Hotels, restaurants, bars, saunas, etc never had a problem! It is connected to my checking so i also use it at the bank ATM. for no fee withdrawal

kya the second guy in your photos and the guy on the left in mine is a stripper that has been working at least the past 12 years(with his “brother, the 2nd guy of 4 in my photo”). He still strips at gay and straight clubs both in SP and Rio

Two of my Brazilian Friends one from Rio and one from SP are coming to Mérida in August and i am making my first trip back to mérida since January! One lived last year in Cancun and spent the last 3 months in Zurich! They know each other and get along great and i find having more then one Brazilian along make it more enjoyable! Merida has stricter rules the we do in Ca. re: covid up until last week all alcohol sales were prohibited since March! i am anxious to get back because i had improvements done on the house that i haven’t seen!
