  1. All of the men (married or single) who I saw while in various parts of Brazil--kissed and kissed mighty divinely!!!!! I don't know about the Dominican Republic. When I was in the DR with a group of gay men for only a week back in 2005, I was unable to have any playtime. While I was at one of the clubs, one guy (a local) made a complete ass of himself: he was such a friggin' nuisance; I DID NOT want to have sex with him. Everyone else who interested me was unfortunately taken. When a cutie approached me outside of my hotel that was in the Colonial Zone on the day of my departure, I had to politely turn down his request, and the night that I had the super-hots for one guy I'd seen around, I fell into a huge drainage ditch between sidewalk and curve while en route to a club and tore a ligament in my right knee. That accident curtailed all of my fun and play time while visiting and led to surgery upon my return to the States. My hope and desire is to return to Santo Domingo sometime in 2023. I've been very cautious during these times of Covid-19 and its variants.
  2. I do hope that you write more than "a little." If the pandemic has decreased considerably by 2023 and my health is fine-- I plan to return to Santo Domingo. My trip there (with a group of approximately 30 men) in 2005 was fine but was not completely enjoyable. Along with my encountering a torn ligament in my right knee which put a huge halt into some of my anticipated adventures, the men with whom I traveled, overall, were too damn cliquish for me. Enjoy your impending trip, and try to remain safe!
  3. Have a wonderful trip and stay safe! Bon voyage and report back when you get the opportunity.
  4. Solace Soul spelled it out quite clearly. Obrigado! R$150 and R$200 seem to be a lot of money, but in reality, it "ain't" as contrasted to what one would pay in both the United States and in Europe. You either want to play and treat the guys fairly, or you don't. You are not overpaying, especially during these days of the pandemic. The base rate some ten years ago was R$50 and upwards some ten years ago and prior. Some guys thought that fee was outlandish then. Remember we all are living during inflationary times. Just note the constant increase in goods at our grocery stores in the US.
  5. If you would like a professional and superb gay tour guide, Fernando B.... comes highly recommended. Read what's on TripAdvisor. In the past he had his own website; I don't know if it's still up. He also has a Facebook page. He and I have communicated via emails in the past; his protege was my guide when I was there a few, few years back, and I recommended him to two of my amigos who live in a different US city. Both were highly pleased with him.
  6. You are NOT by yourself; thus don't feel bad. We all have to attempt to be semi, if not completely, optimistic for a few months now. Remember 2022 is swiftly approaching. I'm being mighty cautious stateside even if I've been vaxed. My very hot go-to guy in San Francisco had me canceling an appointment with him a few months back even after he'd arrived at my hotel lobby looking sizzling. We talked, and as we walked out to go to our spot to smoke some good 420-- I grabbed his bod and brought him close to me and whispered into his ear that we would have to cancel, for I was not comfortable hooking up. Earlier he'd assured me that he'd been vaxed. I opened one of his hands and handed him his requested fee for 1.5 hours. I think I'd included a gratuity as well, for I was hot to be "dicked-down," and I knew that he would be the one to do this. [It had happened previously over a two year period.] We walked, smoked, conversed, then departed company. Before we left-- he invited me to call him anytime, even to just converse. To date I have not rung him, but I will send him a message at Rentmen's chat to let him know that he's still in my thoughts and that I hope to see him one of these nights.
  7. Have you read all of the posts from guys who've been there and posted here. You yourself can check out the airbnb website. Many of the advertisers cite whether or not guests are allowed. Send BlkSuperman a pvt and question. Also, TripAdvisor.com has places to go and things to do. Perhaps you'll want to peruse and decide. I was in Santo Domingo in 2005 under normal circumstances; unfortunately, I can't recommend anything, for I've forgotten. (Sorry) Because we're still in a pandemic, I'd assume the X movie theater that was discussed some months back is closed; along with Manny's procuring some guys for you-- you can run some of the preceding questions by him as well. In my past readings, Manny also serves as a tour guide if that what one's desires. In late 2022 or mid 2023 I hope to find myself in the DR. [Before it escapes my mind, do a walk about in the Zona Colonial; check out some YouTube presentations. ENJOY immensely.
  8. Yes, yes, yes! "The pandemic keeps changing and international restrictions are definitely not over. Thus, I personally have NO desire to travel anywhere internationally until some semblance of normalcy has occurred in this country and our world overall. So, to dampen the disappointment, I've been viewing YouTube travel vids pertaining to the places to which I hope to travel later. To date I yearn to revisit Rio de janiero, Buenos Aires, Greece, Thailand, Spain, Mexico City, London, and other places outside of the United States. But again, I have to feel comfortable and at ease. [I've received the Moderna vaccine and would hope that any of my future playmates would have been vaccinated as well.
  9. I'll always remember the time that I had with DAVID SWEET while I was in Hungary during the middle 2000's. It was my final night in Budapest, and I was quite hungry for some luscious Eastern European playing, for I'd only experienced some mediocre encounters while in Poland and elsewhere during my almost month's traveling. I rang David and set an appointment. He arrived by taxi, and he and I went to my hotel room via the elevator. Once inside of the room, we had little conversation but a lot of some sterling action. I did things with him that I'd not done with others, and for that, I today am the better in the sex department. If we were to meet today, my mouth would be on overdrive, for he tasted oh so friggin' deliciously. I miss Mr. David Sweet but in thought hope he's well and doing some positive things.
  10. I wouldn't mind engaging the services of the man who appeared in the posted Instagram.
  11. I've visited Santo Domingo once but yearn to return after some semblance of normalcy has occurred in the world. When I was there, I used taxis to get around, but I had NO desire to go to the area that was suppose to be the worst part of the city. I feel for the poor, but I have no desire to witness their life as experienced on a daily basis. One dayI visited a principal market and was deluged by almost every vendor who had a shop. Their unusual bombardment onto me acutely lessened my interest in any of their wares/offerings. I returned to the Zona Colonial and made a few purchases: a sculpted wood turtle and some Cuban cigars. Because of my physical looks, I was taken as a native. Both the sales person and I had a good laugh about this. Whenever I do return to the DR and to Santo Domingo-- I, more than likely, will take those cable cars but with a local. I'll get my overview merely from the air. [While in Rio I took two tours to the favelas but with companies that had established them, one being the originator of favela tours that have the same surname as I.]
  12. In 2008 or 2010, I cannot remember the exact year, I took a Grand Circle Travel Tour to Egypt for almost two weeks. Five days were spent traveling along the Nile on a river boat cruise/trip. Afterwards, we returned to Cairo, and while there, one day a group of us made our way to a special shopping area or medina. While there I ventured into a shop looking for a special good (...can't remember specifically now). A cute and young guy assisted me. I purchased what I wanted; he in turn gave me a nicely shaped greenish stone and stated that it was a gift to me. I didn't quite know what to make of this, for I was extremely horny and wanted to have some nice, fairly good sized Egyptian cock. Well, in my state of confusion as well as making certain that I caught the tour bus on time-- I did not try to analyze the situation with this guy although I was so ready and eager to suck and be fucked. Although this occurred a while ago-- the experience still resonates with me. Don't have plans to return to this country any time soon. Brasil and Argentina or perhaps Thailand beckon me in 2022/2023, as Covid has wrecked havoc on life worldwide.
  13. This guy, whoever he is, looks inebriated but quite, quite ripe and "ready to ride!" I'd like him to ride me into oblivion and then some!
  14. Aaah, David Sweet was one of the hottest and sweetest times that I've had with a man. I was about to complete my Eastern European group tours and engaged his services the day before my departure. I rang him using my international phone that I'd purchased in the States prior to departure. It had a British telephone number for me. Well, I rang David and we arranged to get together. When he and I connected outside of my hotel, we immediately went to my room to play. And play we did. He was such a sweet, sweet, man: literally. ...easy communication, great kisser, and one sweet body. Unfortunately, I was not into rimming at the time, but currently I would have eaten him out into oblivion. Right as I type this, I can see and smell him. The experience was much fun and highly charged. I wish this sweetie well.
  15. Ditto! I am one of Tomy's subscriber at OnlyFans, and I received an email with a short shot of you and him. ...liked what I pre viewed and can't wait to see the entire presentation.
  16. On my first three or four trips to Rio de janeiro, I stayed at The Atlantico Copacabana, as it was "the hotel" where most of us from the other website/blogspot stayed. The room rates were reasonable, breakfast served each day was semi-lavish and bountiful, and this particular hotel did allow guests. Never did management bat an eye. In fact, when us gay travelers had guests, the hotel personnel would welcome them proudly. One afternoon, my hot Italian/Brazilian escort arrived at the hotel. The assistant manager rang my room to let me know that my guest had arrived. After this young man who had given me such a hot time decided to leave, I joined him and l went to Copa's main beach to meet his older Italian friend who lived in Rio. When we passed by the desk, the manager gave me the thumbs up and smiled. I felt good. I'll always have fond memories and a warm heart for this hotel, and regarding rooms, they vary. I've always had wonderful and pleasant accommodations at this hotel. When I manage to return to "The Marvelous City," within the next year or two-- I'll more than likely stay in an airbnb apartment.
  17. A thunderous applause goes to you. While I have read about types in various forums, I've always said to myself: "I don't have a type." I like men (period), and if something about them appeals to me and we connect favorably, off we go! I'm with you and wholeheartedly concur. Now if men want to be attracted to certain men based on specifics, that's that individual's choice.
  18. I just ordered a ticket for one. I'm interested as well as curious. ...saw this type of show when I was in Rio and Sao Paulo a few years back. ...had one of the hottest of dancers back at the apartment that a friend and I had rented in Rio. He was oh so friggin' sexy as a dancer as well as a provider of some very, very hot and steamy fun. And as Pope Francis mentioned, the signing up for tickets was easy. At the top of my screen appeared the words "Translate," and that's what I did which enabled me to easily navigate the purchase.
  19. The Covid pandemic has adversely affected everyone and almost every place (especially the cities and countries that "WE" visit); thus this is really NOT the time for anyone to be traveling and exploring and experiencing what one perhaps pre-covid. I love to travel internationally to the countries that are posted about here, but I plan not to resume doing this until late 2022 and during 2023. I hope a huge semblance of normalcy has occurred by then. Thanks to the two men who posted about Greece (Athens in particular). I yearn to return there, for I liked the city when I was there many, many, many ago. ...went to Mykonos but have yet to go to other places when I venture there again.
  20. I know neither language (spoken or written). ...have traveled to countries where Espanol is the prime language, and have ventured to many parts of Brasil. I got along OK for the most part, but would have had a much more enriching experience overall and all around if I'd known the language, esp. when speaking with the natives. [My being on the shy side impeded communication as well.] Since the learning of another language seemingly comes easy for you, I'd highly encourage your learning to speak Brazilian Portuguese. It'll be highly valuable when conversing, and perhaps, reading as well. "Go for it!" My good friend with whom I've traveled to Brazil picked up the language in part and helped me. He knew how to converse in Spanish and hired for me while we were in Buenos Aires. He was one hell of a sweetheart, and I appreciated his assistance. But if I, myself, knew some of the native tongue, I would have gotten along in many areas.
  21. .. am.enjoying reading and viewing all of your previous posts and am glad that you're beginning to have a wonderful stay and are viewing it through a different lens. Perhaps things look remarkably different because of the shut down and closure and the few individuals who are out and about. ...same has happened to me while I've been in San Francisco, especially during the early pandemic days as well as in parts of the area on the coast where I live in Cali. I have visited Buenos Aires 4 or 5 times during this century, and each time I've stayed in Recoleta, one of the upscale barrios in the city. The apartments that I rented from a gay company were always timely furnished, quiet, and mighty welcoming. My friend and I stayed in a penthouse apartment in one of the Palermos during our last visit. It was elegant, and the price quite wonderful. While I read what you wrote, I reminisced, smiled, and felt sad in thinking about the past vs now, and I identified with you when you wrote that you'd not seen your motherin two years. ...the same here which I broke for five days last month. I visited my mother and sister and brother and brother-in-law in Kansas City, MO to surprise and honor my mother on her 101st birthday. She's alert and upbeat but is homebound because of her health. i became emotional as I left for California. Do enjoy yourself and post when you can. I've always enjoyed viewing and reading and vicariously living through what you've written. Gracias, Axiom
  22. ...sorry to have read about your canceled trip because of CoVID. I do hope that you get well soon! I am continuing to wear my masks until the numbers who have been "vexxed" in California have risen to 90+%. ...was in Carmel, CA about an hour ago. Everyone is still wearing masks while out-of-doors and inside businesses as well as restaurants prior to receiving their meals. By everyone doing this, I felt comfortable. ...visited family in Kansas City a week ago. We've been vaccinated except for one member. We kept our distance from him, and while in his company, we donned our masks.
