If there is a market for Coke with sugar at 4 x the cost, I don't understand why Coke doesn't make a sugar version at say 2 x the cost and make more money while increasing the market size (by lowering the price relative to Mexico Coke) for consumers who would prefer sugar to Syrup. I can't believe sugar would be more than double the cost of HFCS. I guess it's probably the marketing challenge of differentiating between the 2 different varieties. If a consumer compared the price of sugar Coke to Syrup Pepsi and bought the Syrup Pepsi not realizing there is an option for Syrup Coke at similar pricing.

Or vote with your feet. I've canceled a planned April trip that wasn't essential. As prices increase some demand will fall. I'm really sick and tired of the airlines charging for luggage even though I never traveled with checked luggage before they started charging. The result of charging for checked luggage(instead of charging us all $10-20 more per flight which I'd happily pay) is slower boarding time as people compete for overhead bin space and slower time through the TSA checkpoint as more carry on luggage has to be checked. The TSA has just requested that the airlines consider stopping charging for at least 1 bag.

Definately a cutie. I've lost some weight and almost lost my trousers when TSA made me take off my belt a couple of weeks ago to go through the metal detector. I would have lost them if they made me go in the machine and raise my hands. Although I plan to wear tighter fitting trousers next week when I fly, I've decided that if they fall they fall. I've been flying monthly for years wearing my belt and used to worry I couldn't reach around to put it back on. It's funny...I didn't have to remove my belt on the return flights the 2 times I had to take it off. But when they tell you to take it off they make it seem like there's no choice. Anyway...good for this kid (I notice he went through security with enough time after being held for 3 hours and still not miss his flight).

What's HD (besides High Definition)?

Has anyone seen this? I just watched the 4 episode increment. Think Upstairs Downstairs. Check out the Hot bad boy footman and the new heir. It's a fun period piece.

Has anyone seen this reincarnation of the original which previewed 35 years ago? Seems that Siskel and Ebert retained the rights to the show and the patented thumbs up or down. Now with a young man and women team with an Ebert review each week (a narrator voices Ebert's review). In our area it's on PBS after Masterpiece Theatre on Sunday Nights.

Oz, our reading lists are much the same. I read every Horatio Hornblower and every Sherlock Holmes. Never made it to the Hobbit series...something to check out someday.

I like the name Lucky's Place too. I'm not concerned what others think about the use of Hooboy for many of the reasons already stated, and I would be happy with that name too.

Thanks Onefinger for your observations. I've never been in the military, but when this subject comes up I've always had a gut feeling the rank and file probably could care less about another serviceman's sexual preference.
