  1. Sorry if Lucky has too many posts today, but this one is too fun not to... Now, I will combine two posts in one. If you didn't get a laugh from that video, this one is quite fun too. Speedo Santas in Boston. Look carefully and you will see some very hot guys: (My thanks to my source, towleroad.com) And this is getting to be like the Lucky reader with a third post: Take a look at 37 photos of semi-naked Santas in San Francisco. Bet there's a gay one! SF Santas

    Hulu

LOL...keep him stress free. BTW, the paper today says that the Ipad3 is coming out in February and is probably worth the wait. I saw the Ipad at Best buy and love it. Someday I will have to stop reading paper books whether I like it or not. And, believe it or not, I got a Best Buy sales person to speak with me and answer a question. Aces, how much HDMI cable does one need for the Roku to get the best stream?

    Hulu

I called today to cancel the cable TV and was shocked to learn that I was paying $107 a month for it. Each cable box added to the bill, and we have 3. So they are coming tomorrow to claim their equipment. Naturally the guy tried to change my mind, and then, when he couldn't, tried to get me to add their landline phone service at only $7 a month.I declined that too. In the course of the call, he repeatedly mixed up which service we were dropping. He would say "internet" when I wanted to drop cable. Whether this was intentional I do not know. Bottom line is that the Roku TV box looks like a good deal if I am going to be saving $107 a month. I'm off to Best Buy to see it, but will probably buy it at Amazon where there is no sales tax. J/K California tax guys!
  4. "You point is interesting?" Yes, I thought it was. Did it only focus on boy places, or did it focus on places that members here have expressed an interest in? Take it as you will. If I missed a country that you are interested in, by all means, speak up and add that information. My statistics were year to date increases in the dollar, and the Mexican peso has lost value. The dollar is up 10.1% in Mexico so far this year. For the record, I went to Mexico last two years ago, and hired no boys. Unless you count a lap dance. And you probably do.
  5. RA1, either you missed my point or I didn't make myself very clear. We, as members of a community forum, can speak in a collective we even though we only intend to express our own opinion. That's because, as a member of the community, we think we know the community temperature. We may not, of course. But in so saying, I am not claiming that I speak for the administration of the site. Just as fans of a sports team often refer to the team as "us" when they have no ownership. "We wiped their butts" is a not uncommon phrase used by sports fans, even though they were never even on the playing field. Did I spell that out clearly enough for you? So hopefully having made it clear from where I speak, I still say that we would clearly not accept a Nazi as a forum participant, at least if he was going to pursue a Nazi agenda. We might try to engage him first, as we do any troll or whiner. We would try to make some accommodation so everyone can participate. But, failing that, you would start to see a decline in participation at the site from those who abhor Nazis. Management might then stand up, if they have not already, and attempt to stem the outflow of participants by reigning in the Nazi. That's my story, RA1, piss on it if you choose. But be careful that it doesn't get moved to the watersports forum. I have no umbrella.

    Welcome RGVTexas

Is there a new poster from Texas? I thought you might be talking about a new RV. But yes, welcome, RGV to the forum. What do you have to say?
  7. Going to Brazil? Good for you. The dollar has risen 9.4% this year against the real, and is currently at its highest exchange in 2011, 1.817 reais to the dollar. Small comfort for those of us who first encountered the real when it was over 3 to the dollar, but you take what you can get. Going to Prague to met Tomcal at the boy bar Escape? The dollar is up 1.7% on the Koruna, which means you get almost 19 of them for your buck. Thailand fans can now escape the flooding and get more baht for their bills. The dollar there is up 4.9%, giving almost 30.9 baht per dollar. I have seen it as low as 22, so this is good. Well, inflation probably accounts for something here too. Euros are holding steady, with no change. The British pound is up on the dollar, but only slightly, at -0.4%. Finally, those going to Montreal for New Year's Eve will see only a paltry rise of 2.2% for their dollars. If you are simply looking for the best results, the dollar is up 15% in India, 14% in Poland, and 19% in Turkey. Your best bet, though, is South Africa, where the dollar rose 22%.
  8. Aces, I think the thread easily encompasses Rick Perry. As you know, the Politics forum will take what comments it can get!
  9. A "bicurious" member of Cam4 from the Netherlands is raising tempers at this moment as he wears a T-shirt with a large Nazi symbol. He is obviously there for the shirt more than for the sex as he is wearing a pair of well-worn grey briefs. Given that he is number 4 on the male chart, comments are limited to premium members, but many are letting him know their distaste for his shirt. Other racists then reply with their own hate comments. The N-word is common to some of them, at least when I was reading it. So far, the Nazi has been on for 155 minutes. I have often wondered what moderation there is on Cam4. Underage boys tend to get the hook pretty quickly, so there is some. I'll let others claim that free speech allows him to wear what he wants. Would we tolerate Nazi rantings here? Clearly not.
  10. No one is bitching about avatars. People often like to see their threads remain on topic, and why shouldn't they? Granted, it doesn't always happen, and in the scheme of things, it is not a big problem. But it is easy to maintain a certain etiquette in the forum. Respect the thread that someone else starts and you have nothing to contribute to. If you are an occasional poster, take a look at what is happening in the forum before you post. If you did, you might see that your friend is being complimented in a separate thread, and you might then put your compliment where it belongs, and is most likely to be seen by your friend. Simple, huh? No feathers get ruffled, the friend gets his compliment, and your return to the forum flows easily into the mix. What's so wrong, or bitchy, about expecting some respect?
  11. No more guessing on the racial diversity of the A&F boys. The Singapore store opening is captured on video, so see for yourselves. The one Asian I saw is very cute, and I think there is another one! UPDATE: Via towleroad.com, I learn that the Singapore newspaper reported on the opening, and told us how many local boys were in the mix: The Straits Times reports: Employed by retail brand Abercrombie & Fitch, about 40 of these male models stood in a straight line flashing smiles and striking poses outside the yet-to-open flagship store in Singapore's premier shopping district. Among the 40 models, about five were sourced locally. Responses from the ground were tepid at first this morning, with many onlookers taking pictures from afar. But, curiosity soon overtook the passers-by, and within half an hour, the men were swarmed.
  12. No doubt it is just my perverted mind, but in a country known for its past, full of violent death, to say that you are hoping for your friend's final thoughts after he has a blast sounds rather um, well, morbid?

I would have gone to best buy but I spent so many hours on computer issues. I probably would have walked out of Best Buy with a new computer.
  14. No, I can't do the teddy bear. It's just not me.
  15. Maybe I should get a new avatar.
  16. EXPAT, that is no doubt excellent advice. If I could just stop going to Rio, I might be able to afford it!
  17. Is Tiny Tim in? My favorite would be Leif Garrett though...in his adult era.
  18. The difference between the Beverly Hills and the Sheraton is $200 for the weekend. But, one drawback might be the noise level...if tomcal and company are staying there!
  19. gcursor, there is a whole thread devoted to hitoallusa and his new avatar. Why not post your comment there? As for Avast! and the boot scan, it finds numerous files it calls decompression bombs. That sounds scary. But, researching on my computer, it seems that they are mostly compressed files that are harmless at worst and needed at best. This is not fun.
  20. Hotel rates for this weekend: Sheraton is $166 a night, no breakfast, paid in advance and no refund. Add $30 in taxes Mercure Manhattan is $138 a night with same restrictions..$173 not paid in advance Mercure Beverly Hills is $102 a night with same restrictions..$127 not paid in advance For unrestricted rates, add $44 a night from the first rate given, at the Manhattan, add $53 a night. This rate will also include breakfast. On the unrestricted rate at the Beverly Hills, add $11 pp for breakfast. I couldn't find the rate for the other hotels. Nor could I get the taxes without re-entering all the information. I did discover this hidden information buried in the Sheraton website: Special Offers in Reais Brazilian? Discover our exclusive special offers and unmissable packages for Brazilian Residents in Reais!
  21. It was the AVG boot scan that quarantined the trojan horse. But, I did download Avast! and am scanning now. So far they have found one infected file.
  22. Tomcal is correct that the airfare is about $132...from Sao Paolo. But, flying to POA out of GIG is more expensive. So we paid $183 each for a round trip from GIG to POA to GRU. That beats the $259 they wanted in August though! We will be in POA Friday afternoon until Monday afternoon. So 3 nights in Rio, 3 nights in Porto Alegre, and one and a half nights in Sao Paolo. I hope Lagoa is not closed on Mondays.
  23. Buy a new scale! We went to Costco to get a scale since our new gym is frugal and does not provide one. My weight at the store on their sample scale was 4 pounds higher than on the one we took home. The bf was not as lucky. Using the same scales, he only lost 2 more pounds with the new scale.
  24. Whenever I look at the GOL fare, they seem to be twice what Tomcal finds. I consider myself pretty savvy at finding good fares too. But, we plan to join him in Porto Alegre. I have a relative there who will pass out fliers with tomcal's picture on them at the saunas. It will advise the boys I like, and only them, using a special secret formula, to avoid tomcal until they have had first dibs on me. Otherwise, we would all have to sit around and wait until he had chosen his boy(sss) for the night!
  25. We fixed a lot of it, enough to get him back up and running. I have no doubt that the virus was the same as the one discussed in my first post. One that was holding you up for $75. Yet I do not have the computer knowledge to determine what, if any, permanent damage was done to the hard drive. As for backing up files, we have the San Disc, which is apparently full, and signed up for Dropbox, but don't know how to use it. Part of the problem is it does seem that many files were stripped by the virus, and someone smarter than me will have to find out what.
