My first (1st- lookin) night in Pattaya I had dinner with the owner of the world's premier gay male escort review site. The dinner was great. Afterwards, he took me on a tour of some of the bars in the area known as Boystown. Turns out that he not only owns a website, but he is also the mayor of Boystown, or so it would seem. The boys flock to him much as the Rio boys flock to tomcal. While waiting for the mayor, I saw a very hot young man with a chiseled chest leaving a gay massage place, where I assume he had just left work. I intend to find out today. After the mayor called it a night, I continued to checkout bars, waiting for the 10:30 show at another place. When I finally got there, I saw the little sign announcing that the show was now at 10, so I continued on, and like a good gay man, went shopping. Such a distraction amidst all those boys. I finally decided that the first boy I was introduced to was the best choice, so I returned to the bar where he works, only to see him leaving on his motorbike, with a girl holding tightly on to him. That only underscores the message- he who hesitates... Pattaya boys tend to be on the younger and thinner side, which makes chiseled chest all the better a find. The search continues if I am wrong about him. There are probably another 100 bars here that I have yet to try. Finally, on semantics, I used to make the case that Thai men are not boys, and should not be referred to as such. It's a lost cause. Everyone here calls them boys if they are working, whether 18 or 28. So I joined the club cuz I like boys. So, when I went to add this edited post, my edit time had expired. Wisely I had saved the post, but this is it. If this post doesn't go up, I truly am done for the day! Typing, that is.

I wrote a long report on last night, suffered two computer crashes, and then, when I went to hit "add reply" the whole report disappeared. Sorry, but I give up.
  3. Totally Oz tells me that he has the event penciled in, and I hope he does make it. Of course I plan to attend. Thanks to Oliver for carrying the extra burden this year. He is truly a great guy and a great host, so try to make plans now to attend.
  4. Think of the poor guy in an internet cafe who goes to MER, then encounters that full page ad for Male Nation. It is not just that he encounters it- the whole place can have a look should they wish to do so. Then everyone knows your business. Yes, I know they pay...

Night 23 took me to the Circle Pub, which, except for my uncomfy seat, I liked a lot. A nice young man of 25 made made my acquaintance right away, and we enjoyed some time together. There were many cute guys there, and the place was packed for the show. Two older straight couples came, but when the first dancer dropped his pants, they left in a hurry. The show opened with a well-choreographed lip sync and dance show, then quickly moved on to the sex. A young man with an enormous penis was masturbating in his room, when the character from the screen joined him. They pleasured each other* and the show abruptly ended, as did each act. Next was a shower show, again two guys with enormous erections pleasuring* each other. There were then two guys in smocks with holes for their, again, enormous cocks to poke out of. They walked around to make sure the audience had a close look. A solo singer, rather handsome, then performed, and we were back to various acts involving guys with erections doing various things. Finally, the singing group came out to end the show. All the guys working the club came individually on stage. The first group wore a thin cloth that showed their erections underneath, then the next group wore blue jeans and no shirts, followed by, I guess, the shy guys who came out fully clothed- shirt and tie. No mamasan bothered me as the club was quite busy. Thankfully the first guy was just my type. *When I say pleasuring, take note that the guys are careful not to touch each other's cocks. I got another Thai massage today. This place was less upscale, and the cost was $4.75 for an hour. Yes, I tip well. But each massage now has left me in pain. Today I hurried to the RX to buy a pain patch for my lower back. In the past I have learned that the first few Thai massages hurt, then they become bliss once the body knows what to expect. Finally, about these big cocks on stage. These guys must be specially selected for the shows, as none of the guys I have personally met in my 13 visits to Thailand have been that well-endowed! No report tomorrow as I will be en route to Bangkok. Hopefully in the week left to me I will find more good times.
  6. It's always...well. almost...enjoyable to meet a fellow poster. We get a picture in our heads of what the other person might look like and how he might be, but then meeting you learn differently. I enjoyed meeting kjun, but he is much younger than I had thought, has a nice southern way about him, and is a good dinner companion. I wouldn't have known if I hadn't made the effort to meet up. I have now met over 80 fellow posters, but don't know the exact number as I have quit counting.

Hope the Jupiter shows return to their earlier glory.last night I went to the New My Way in Chiang Mai. Anyone of the opinion that Asian cocks are small would have seen repeated evidence to the contrary, as several large erections paraded across the stage in various attempts to entertain. The My Way actually had customers, too. Today I went to an orchid farm and to the Queen's Garden, which is beautiful. On the way back my tour driver took me by the old Coffee Boy guest house, where I had some of the best times of my life in the late 80's and early 90's. I shouldn't have gone, as the place is decrepit, having been closed for some time. Odd how it wasn't as big as I remembered either. Surely my memories of the good times there are true! I also managed a foot massage by this petite woman. 10 dollars for one hour. She nearly killed me, she was so strong! She ended up massaging the shoulders, and I was embarrassed that I needed her help to get up. This computer is sticky, so I done with my report for today. I guess that MsGuy isn't reading them after all...

Given that we have a few folks here interested in Thailand, I've always enjoyed it when others write about their experiences so I can have a taste of Thailand in between my visits. So this thread is for those folks. Last night I went to a bar in Chiang Mai called Adam's Apple. They have a big neon apple out front. Sadly, there were few customers for this nice looking bar. The mamasan is a cute (and unavailable) gay boy who sat with me. At first I thought he was just keeping me company until the place got busy, then I realized the place wasn't going to get busy. Except for 2 other customers who already seemed occupied, I was the only potential source for one of the guys to make some money. And they did have plenty of guys. most of whom were cute. They dressed in shirt and tie, and sat around looking very bored. I take it that they are not allowed to approach the customers, But mama was working hard to get some business. Only a few of the boys danced on stage. I liked one that did a number with another guy where they whipped each other. (The kept giggling though). Then mama brought the newest boy over to me. He was also the cutest, but he either did not want to go with me, or he simply had too many things he did not do. Okay, all he said he would do is rim. He wouldn't kiss me me but he would rim me. Didn't make sense, so I figured he just wasn't interested. Then again, I was the only prospect. So, I finally went with the guy from the stage number. He was accommodating, not that I am very hard to please. But mamasan flat out lied to me about what I should pay, so I ended up paying an overnight price for an hour. Mama also tried to get me to use the room there at 500 baht, but the off fee was only 300 baht. Even after we were outside mama tried to lead me to a hotel across the street. So I won't go back. The saving grace is that mamasan is very cute. One question for firecat and Oz. I went to the show at Jupiter in Bangkok. I've always liked their shows, and I think you guys did too. But the first hour was quite a bore and I had to leave. Does it get better? I can go again next week...
  9. So I took the metered taxi and still got ripped off! The hotel said the fare should be 500 baht, but this guy took the long way and ran it up to 650. Today I taxied back to the airport and the guy wanted to avoid the meter. He offered to drive me there for 500 baht! I took his offer. So, after hideous flights from the US, (The first Delta flight way late so that I barely made my connection to BKK) I arrived at 1 am to my hotel in BKK. Very nice and comfortable. They honored the last 2 nights of my Priceline reservation, so now the Delta insurance should pay the rest of my out of pocket loss caused by the first delay. Some people on the 2d flight had left the day before- 4 hours late, and all had to spend the night in Tokyo, where it is freezing. Glad I didn't as I have no winter clothes with me. I met the poster known as kjun for dinner (kjun12 on MER) We had a very nice chat and then went to Patpong to watch the boys until I picked out a cute masseur and had to take my leave. "Golf" works at Bunny Massage and did his best to please me. Jet lag then set in and I slept for hours. kjun has posted just about as long as I have, so it was nice to match the face to the name. I hope we can meet up again next week when I am back in BKK> Today I flew to Chiang Mai where I will shortly go out to see the local talent. I am staying at a gay guesthouse recommended by Oz. I waw also able to buy a throwaway cell, which makes it nice to call the US without having to find an international phone and phone card. So, it's shirtless weather and a night full of promise. Will shy ol' Lucky get laid?
  10. It always amazes me when the right wingers spin things to avoid responsibility. They have been egging people on to shoot someone for some time now, but don't want to take the responsibility when it happens. Put 'em in the crosshairs apparently means whatever the Repubs want it to mean until it actually takesw on its real meaning.
  11. Well, not daily as I don't have a laptop. But when I can, and if I have a story, I will share.
  12. hehehe...thanks. I hope you didn't wear them out!
  13. 104 guys have ads on Rentboy for Bangkok. I didn't look at them all, first because they all seemed to want US prices, and second because most of the listings seemed to be agency boys. I guess this is for the guy who can't be seen in the gay bars. What was astonishing was how, well, unattractive many of the guys advertising are. I've always found better in the bars.
  14. I think your natural born charm may have a lot to do with it!
  15. Do these guys met the standard definition of winks> I don't think so. Real Brazilian twinks are hard to cum by.
  16. I wonder is she will ever be able to use the Glock that she owns.
  17. I have lost 18 pounds, but most of it was water weight, I have to admit. Congrats on the 80 pound loss- that's real work.
  18. In Thailand you will find me each afternoon having fries and a Coke at McDonald's. I don't like their burgers though, picking Ruby's or Red Robin for that. (Not in Thialand, of course.) And beef barbecue? Not a chance.
  19. The Mickey Moosies of the world must be giddy with joy as a judge and congressperson have been shot. So far the Congressperson lives, but with what brain damage we don't know. A child was also killed, among others. The judge himself had ruled that background checks on gun buyers were unconstitutional. Arizona is rapidly becoming the nut state, and I have no problems avoiding it.
  20. I hope that boy's dick gets harder each minute he massages me! The bf has been ill, so it is good that I was here to look after him. This evening he is recovering, just in time for my Monday departure. No word yet from the hotel. You are no doubt right. Things happen for a reason. I may have completely different experiences. Also, the kid in the row next to me on the canceled flight was a screamer. On the next flight, I am in an aisle seat in an exit row. So there's improvement already.
  21. Thanks, Hoover. In going to Thailand, it's best to have a hotel on arrival as the planes from the US get in very late, such as midnight. After customs and the taxi, it's about 2 am when you arrive in the city. Even then the Holiday Inn Silom once told me my room was not ready! It should have been ready at 3 pm the previous day.
  22. The headline you used did not make me connect the article, thus I missed your thread. Sorry.
  23. Now that I recall, I stayed at the Pan Pacific when they had a soft opening years ago. They claimed that they had no construction going on, but all day the noise was clear from whole floors of rooms that workmen were inside the rooms, but they denied to my face at the front desk that any construction was underway. I checked out and they didn't care. The lobby is about 28 floors up, or was, and the elevators were not air-conditioned. Glad to hear that Crowne is giving it a go. I hope they make it work. I did like the room.
  24. So I had a nice hotel booked in Bangkok on Priceline. Because these are not cancelable, I bought the insurance Priceline offers, only to find it does not cover cancellations due to airline mechanical problems causing the flight itself to be canceled. I called Priceline, and although she was eager to call and cancel the reservation for me, (no doubt because then Priceline gets to keep all of the money) she also told me that the hotel could, at its choice, rebook my reservation for the new dates and I would not lose the money. She emphasized that his was the hotel's discretion. When I spoke with the hotel, they at first were eager to rebook me, except now the last night of the new stay would be unavailable as they were booked, and the King room they had reserved for me would not be available for the last 3 nights if I stayed. It would be a twin. She then started to claim that Priceline would not let them rebook me after all. SO, hours later, I get an email offering from the hotel to let me keep the last two nights of my prepaid stay, no longer a King but a twin, and I would then forfeit the first three nights I had paid for. One who has traveled to Bangkok knows the first night is often a check-in at 2 a.m., giving you about ten hours in the hotel. The hotel then said that additional deposits and penalties had yet to be determined, but I would be notified of them. So, my 5 night stay is reduced to 34 hours, with penalties yet to come. I also bought Trip coverage on Delta. All of my expenses for the delay, including the hotel, would be covered, except that Delta's insurer limited the amount to $500. The hotel alone is over $600. So, right now I am back at home, writing this at the exact moment I should be landing in Bangkok. My temptation is to just stay here, although I am rebooked out for Monday.
  25. Did you ever stay on the fourth floor? It's the Priceline floor, so named because that's what they give Priceline customers. It's totally shabby. The clerk said he'd give me a room on the quieter side of the hotel. Right. The A/c was so incredibly loud (and old) that I shut it off and opened the window. If that was the quiet side...
